Pretty cool I think.

Daniel Hemric‘s No. 8 Chevrolet goes back about 70 years for its inspiration.

Instead of a tribute to an old race car, RCR will recognize the history of sponsor Caterpillar with its scheme. Hemric’s car, with battleship gray and orange colors, is inspired by the design of CAT equipment and the logo used on them from its launch in 1925 until 1931.

Hemric will make his first Cup start at Darlington after making two starts there in the Xfinity Series. His best result was 11th last year.

I'm not sure if they are any others I've not seen so post away if you got any,

Nice colors but I wish more companies would send their logo to creative to design real throwback texts and logos to match. That big A really throws it off IMO. Same with their rainbow warrior scheme.

Hell, they should take it a step further and switch the number back to 25 for that race. I'm pretty sure Hendrick still owns that number
I wish Hendrick would switch Bowman’s number to 5 or 25 anyway, they’ve got a lot more history with those numbers than 88. I still associate 88 more with DW and Dale Jarrett than I do Dale Jr.

YES, thank you. I agree 100 percent. If I had to guess, I would say the sponsors (Nationwide) were too invested in the 88, and wouldn't have liked the team switching numbers because it would affect their "brand" or whatever. I think it's ridiculous, but you know how some of these marketing know-it-all types can be.

Jr isn’t even running 88 in his one Xfinity race this year, so if/when Nationwide leave hopefully Rick goes back to 5 or 25. You’re completely right HMS has zero attachment to that number, maybe when the time is right the switch will be made. And I also associate the 88 with Ford Quality Care Credit Taurus with DJ.

Yeah Hamlin’s seems to be a little bit closer to the way Darrell’s car looked, verses Stenhouse Jr’s car... that is if the renders are ‘on point’.

Either way, Fed Ex allowing them to use those colors and modify the Fed Ex logo is a huge deal. Props to them for doing it.

The DW tribute car Denny Hamlin will run at Darlington.

One of the cars from the Junior Johnson era would have made more sense since those were #11, but this is cool too. Looks a little better than the DW scheme Stenhouse is running this week IMO.
Its missing the goldish separation line between the orange and white, but other than that, its pretty on point, and I think the front runner for me for my favorite so far , looks soo good on a Toyota :)

Yeah, an #11 car of DW's would have made a bit more sense, but sweet ride still.

Oh and this is one that was announced a couple weeks back, pretty nice. Funny enough it's also an 11 Car

This is what it's suppose to be.

I always liked that car. I believe it started out on Bobby Allison's 12 car (Stricklin) before the Stavola Brothers' 8 car (Marlin/Burton). Nice to see Raybestos back on a car again

Sorta looks like Jeff's Baby Ruth colors

Here is the Wood Brothers car.

Nice tribute to Glenn, who passed in January. These legends from my childhood are getting chipped down.

If you take a look at vintage Glenn, he’s in a convertible with a roll bar and he’s got a hard hat.
