Cup RACE thread --- Kansas

Yea an NBC storyline it felt like. I have utmost respect for the victims. But NBC pushing that was eye rolling like Chase and Larson were teenagers when that happened, I don’t buy that was at the front of their minds as they were racing.
I don't think Chase was even a teen yet. He's 25. Right? He must have been 11 or 12.

Yea I guess I dunno they were kids when it happened, but yah still was a tragic day

Hell I ain't even riled. Elliott beat himself slapping the wall numerous times, it wasn't harvick. Oh course I expected the wrath of all of the Elliott fans. So what.

It really kinda bugs me that the attention given to the HMS plane crash today was centered around Ricky… because of a paint scheme? I’m not sure. It’s the first time that I’ve seen a broadcast center the tragedy and symbolism to one single victim of that day.

I mean Ricky’s only win is at Kansas with a package similiar to this.

You gonna let this die, or we gonna keep this one going for a bit?

Nothing dies here. You know this by now. Hell we still make so and so to the 5 jokes..

well. I guess not anymore since the 5 actually wins..

so we make has so and so (age here) lost a step jokes still

Standonit vs Adouble9 is this week's feature, apparently.

Chase went full Larson. Fastest car, rim riding, chasing down leader and then walled it.
Larson went full Larson earlier in the race too.

Larson's in rubbing off onto his teammates.

Yep. Honestly I think 98% of any other business folds like a cheap suit after experiencing the same kind of loss. HMS kept that train on the tracks.
Yep, Rick Hendrick is a very strong man and I will always respect what he has accomplished in life...especially after that tragic day.
