2022 Silly Season

I would hate to see dirt at North Wlksboro. It has a better pit road (less needy for times outs) than Bristol or Martinville for a short track and it was just already damn perfect with Asphalt.

Does Kaulig have 2 charters? It was said AJ would only do part time Cup and remain full time Xfinity next year. I didn't know if that was based on just the one charter or them already having two.

They have 2. See above post.

I believe the 2nd car is going to be run as an all star car. So basically whoever shows up with money

I think Matt is a better driver than Harrison but he still wore out his welcome.

That's nothing new. Wad Burton had more talent than Jeff Burton imo. But he didn't know how to his kiss corporate A as well. I think he could have been a much a bigger star if he had worked the PR better. It's part of the game I don't like but the cars don't pay for themselves you have to be a good spokesperson on every level.

on the Jr download the Ward interview

because of loyalty to previous car owners
Ward turned down the 28 car, a HMS ride and the 99 car (told Jeff to go talk to Jack for the 99 ride)

Also Joe Gibbs approached him before Dale Jarrett for the 18.

I like Ward but you have to think some of those weren't really complete offers. I'm thinking some were "We'd be interested in talking to you"

Joey Gase Motorsports flows way better than JGR. But good luck to him, hes gonna need it.
I don't see the Xfinity series being all that strong next season. The good teams are going Cup if only because of the circumstances and the better payroll.

Will be about the same as it usually is. Only X factor is the 22 whether it will be full time or not. JGR will have one less car, RCR will have an extra car. 🤷‍♂️

2023? I can't believe any woman is willing to wait more than a year for you. You need to nail her down before she comes to her senses.
She wants a spring time wedding, and the upcoming spring is too soon.

My sister, and then my bestfriend got married over the summer, I was in both weddings.

Next fall, my buddy is getting married in September and I'm the best man. A few weeks later my fiance's uncle is getting married.

She wants to get married after all of these weddings, and tbh I agree. So spring of 2023 if will be.

And to Standonit.. buddy I'm glad you mentioned that because I've become a damn good cook over the years and she loves my cooking! Haha

I think he said Bobby Labonte (after Dale Jarrett between '94 and '95) but could be remembering wrong
I need to rewatch the Scene podcast where he really went into it. I could have sworn that he was the first Coach approached, but I admit I'm likely wrong. The big takeaway (From Dale Jr Download where he lightly broached topic and the Winston Cup Scene podcast where he went really in depth) is that Ward was an old school, loyalty and prinicples kind of guy and remained loyal to AG Dillard and then Bill Davis when a LOT of the big dawgs in NASCAR came offering. Sad, but admirable. I always thought he was the more naturally talented of the two brothers in the sport, but Jeff knew how to "play the game" where as Ward just wanted to drive and cut the bull****.

More like 2023 silly season, but I popped the Q a few hours ago.

Jaqua19 is engaged!

Congrats, man! May your marriage go as well as your driver's season this year!!!!

Yeah, I hope this isn't another Nature's Bakery deal.
Supposedly they have brought in a bit of money, not like Nature Bakery biting off more than they can chew.

I think they'll be fine due to them sponsoring RPM, now sponsoring a larger team could possibly raise red flags. However, this is a single car, mid-field team.

Revenue per share is 52 cents but the shares trade for only 6? Am I reading that right? That doesn't sound right.

I can imagine Richard Petty in his big hat and dark glasses...

"Focus Factor" is "nutrition for your brain." It's good stuff. All these years I've been putting STP in my motors, and look how good we done. Focus Factor is like STP for your brain. What's not to like about that!

Charlie, you can't spend the top line of the income statement. You can only spend the bottom line, and that 3 cents per share. This deal smells very dodgy (Dodge-y) to me.

Does Focus Factor cancel out Goodys Headache Powder?

Take forcus factor to help you remember to take your Goodys.

Goodys has been a good sponsor and backed Petty for years. They have also sponsored some cup races. But I can't remember which ones and may need some focus factor.
