2022 Silly Season

The Money Team plans on a 15 race schedule, with the team especially focusing on the road courses with Kaz Grala.
I hope it works out for them but listening to Kaz's interview last night didn't instill a lot of confidence. When asked he couldn't say what their second race would be. Possibly COTA?

They have 5 races worth of sponsorship with PitViper & partnering with StarCom Racing. (RCR car at Daytona)

In what role I wonder, I thought Trevor was pretty much retired and doing the tv thing

It’s probably Trevor Bayne, Devoution Nutrition is following him on Instagram

Didn't Trevor have a couple decent truck runs last season? To me one of the 500 win was a blessing and curse. It kept him around longer but put expectations too high for him

Me too. I hope he revives his career but I dont see it. He may do well in the Gibbs car but I dont see where he can go after
Bayne will make his return to NASCAR after spending both the 2019 and 2021 seasons out of racing while pursuing a career as the owner of Mahalo Coffee Roasters in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. Bayne's last NASCAR action came toward the end of the 2020 season, where he ran eight Camping World Truck Series races for Niece Motorsports.

Was listening to John Cohen (one of the owners of NY Racing) the other night and the way he made it sound that Chevy changed how they do alliances now that you no longer have an alliance with HMS or RCR you have an alliance with Chevy as they have supposedly become more dedicated to the sharing of data. That's why NY racing is running a RCR prepared car with an HMS engine.

I don't know if that caused this, but it sure seems like it could have. There are only 6 Toyotas entered in the Daytona 500 compared to 18 each of Fords and Chevy's

Herbst is now a part of KHI.

Be prepared to see him in Cup, IMHO.
