Racing the way it ought to be. Nobody owes anyone anything when going for that checkered flag. Awesome finish IMO. I like seeing a first time winner.

The winners of these plate races seem so random.

The 2, 12, 6, 19, 18, 23 were up front most of the day. Not really that random that Cindric was running well all day.

Bump racing sucks though, racing was great when they weren’t bumping at the beginning and middle

That's the difference between him and Blaney...the first thing a subdued Blaney would have said is how he hated what happened to his teammate. Cindric's response, especially after what went down Thursday leaves a bad taste in my mind.

Good race. I enjoyed the whole race. Few issues with the new car(wheels?) but overall thought it performed well. No issue with Cindric doing what he needed to do at the end, and thought he ran well all day. Also thought KB ran a smart race after early damage and got a decent finish. Looking forward to the season.

Even with his numerous bonehead mistakes today, proud of Brad and the RFK boys this week. Got a couple duel wins and both cars were fast all week. Looking forward to seeing how they grow

Yes, the days of full-bore coverage from Daytona went away with Speed Channel. Miss the days of shows like Victory Lane after a race finished.

By the same token, they had already gone past their broadcast window today and had actually crept into their primetime programming.
