We hit a taco stand in Puerto Vallarta that made easily the best tacos I've ever had. No idea what made them so good but they nailed it.
Taco Hell has had one of those abominations for over a decade. We get more authentic tacos from at least three different places here, one in a gas station that may sell more tacos than gas.
Never get food from a fast-food taco chain. There are too many local Mex and Tex-Mex joints that do a much better job. If you don't see any Latino customers, if they don't have lengua or cabrito or al pastor, move on.
We have a local family in my area that now has 4 or 5 locations. Real tacos. I started eating at their #1 location back in the early 90s.

That’s odd. Spices are now political.
These guys won me over a couple years back. I emailed them with a review of one of their rubs. I told them it was way too salty. The owner sent me $20 worth of their salt free blends.

I disagreed with the guy who ran the grill near where I worked. That didn't stop me from eating there weekly or him from sending out free stuff when I had guests.
Although his 'Suicide by Shrimp' tore me a new one.
I love shrimp. I love hot stuff. I eat Serrano chilis everyday. Great in eggs or any omelette.
