I'm sure everyone who was there had a great time. But 15,000 people paid for tickets/travel/lodging/etc. and were sent home. Then, SMI refused to refund their tickets. After refusing to refund the fans, Bruton Smith blamed everyone else except SMI and KY Speedway for the cluster.
It's forgivable when a new track opens and has these problems, and the track addresses the problems. It's not forgivable when it's the third time a situaiton like this has happened at a track that's been open for ten years and the track blames the state, county, the police and everyone else.
If it was all the state's fault, why did Kentucky Speedway construct new parking lots and add more entrances?
