Cup race at Charlotte

I always get a little sad about this time every year...this is my favorite racing day and there is only 150 miles left out of 1100 miles of racing.

If after having one of the best cars and the best pit crew all night, Ratcliff deserves a swift kick if he gives this one away.

Larry Mac and Math - I dunno :waver:
Ever since Larry Mac said during the TNT prerace show last year he didn't know who the Dalai Lama was, I have severely doubted his ability in anything that wasn't crew chiefing.

What the hell is Fox Sports 1?

Like Stewart Fan said, ESPN is making hella money broadcasting college football and basketball. The other networks want to get in on this and start their own national sports cable network. NBC/Comcast bought Versus and made it NBC Sports Net, which was an existing channel.. CBS launched CBS Sports Network from scratch, and as a result has had trouble getting good placement in cable packages. Fox Sport Net is actually a series of locally programmed sports networks with very little national content. For example, FS Wisconsin shows Bucks and Brewers games. So, because Rupert Murdoch wants a nationwide sports network that is included in most basic digital cable packages, he's turning Speed into "Fox Sports 1" and Fuel TV into "Fox Sports 2".
it was a poor attempt at sarcasm...
Oh, ignore my answer then. I was being Literal Kevin.

Well actually the Indy500 racers were just trading places to conserve fuel an we only ended up with a one lap restart to seal the deal...Lord knows what will happen tonight.

1,262 miles if you count the Monaco GP.
You guys have the advantage over me there, because I have never really got into formula 1 to much. But, maybe I will work on that before next year.

I know a few people like that...

They had better had better still air all the racing that the Speed channel does or I'm going to be very upset. But then again, there are more college sports fan than NASCAR fans, so they probably don't care what us nascar fans think.

If they take away my sports..I will live in the mountains...with my gun and my bible....I will shoot..

I could get into it more if they'd make a couple of changes to the television coverage. I probably wouldn't watch it if it wasn't this weekend. I think of it as an appetizer.

Prepare to be upset.

Come at me, bro!

Just think, he spent money to get in to do this and won't remember a minute of the race.

I bet everything but the Truck races are going away. They already let F1 go by making an insultingly low bid to keep the US TV rights. I bet V8 Supercars and all the other cool stuff aren't going to last long. They are going to keep NASCAR RaceHub, they claim, but it's going to be moved to 12pm. The current 6pm timeslot is going to be for Fox Sport One's SportsCenter-killer type show.
