Just wana give a shout out to all you haters.

Joey Logano is currently the hottest cup driver. With 2 top 5's, 5 top 10's and a worst finish of 11th over the past 6 races(3 top 5's, 6 top 10's if u count the all star race) Joey has earned more points than any other cup series driver since the Coke 600 at Charlotte, moving from 18th in points to 10th. Its a null point but without the 25 point penalty he would be 7th in points, 7 points behind Dale Earnhardt Jr and 5 points ahead of Kyle Busch.

I wouldn't be surprised if we start hearing a lot more about that 22 team over the next few weeks. That first win for Roger Penske is coming soon I can feel it. Keep your eyes on Joey next Saturday at Daytona. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls off a couple wins and some more top 5's and 10's in about 7 of the next 9 races leading up to the chase. Some of his best tracks are coming up and the stats just keep improving.

End of rant. Enjoy.

Can I change the title now or no? lol guess not... oh well Im ready for the ball busting for that... my main point is still a kick in the nuts for a few select .... people..

I gotta give your boy credit though SB22, he is running pretty good right now. 10th in points ain't bad when you consider there's a 25 point penalty factored in there. Much better than the dumpster fire that was the 22 team last year.

I know right. Gives some credibility.. or as others would say facts to back up my rants at the beginning of the season lol.

Also I did the math and Kevin Harvick has gained 1 more point than him since the 600.. Still tho Im looking forward to the rest of the season I'd be willing to bet if he does make the chase he'll finish in the top 5 just based on his chase race results so far. In 2010 he gained more points in the chase than any driver besides the 3 that were still mathematically eligible for the championship at Homestead(48, 11, 29).. He always seems to pick it up around chase time.. just hasn't been in the chase yet lol.

Well im saying over the last 6 races.. dont worry the wins r comin.. points wise joeys been up there but its hard to say he's hotter than kenseth bc of the 4 wins... keep ur eyes peeled for a weekend sweep NNS/Cup by Joey this weekend :)

A lot can happen but he's looking Chase-bound to me. If it weren't for the points penalty I think he'd be sitting in 7th. I find it a little funny many people, myself included, thought Brad would be a good mentor for Joey and help him realize his potential and now Joey's outrunning him every week.

I don't know what they are going to say if Logano wins a race now and solidly puts himself in the chase. They are so busy swarming Kenseth with the Gibbs love, who's X Roush team mate Edwards is kicking his butt in the points, and now the driver he replaced is nipping at his heels. talk about screwed up, Kenseth wins the championship with one win, now he has 4 wins and he is 5th. Logano wins a race and no telling where he would go points wise. I got a headache. I'm with FL, I thought when he and Brad got together, Brad would be a lot easier to get along with and would be a much better team mate than the two he had, but I thought Brad would be higher than the Joester. If I had to pick between the three, I want both Fords to come out on top. Anybodies guess at this point but a good time for Joey to catch fire.

Wow... its amazing the difference some solid runs can make on the opinions some have shared in regards to Joey before now lol. Can't say I hate it tho.. I'm just happy he's finally starting to show up a lot more consistently. Still waitin on that first win for Penske but I think it could really happen anytime. Without the championship under his belt Brad might have ended up #2 (no pun intended) at Penske Racing. I know Im jumping to conclusions but with the results over the last couple months I see no reason I shouldn't be as confident as ever that he'll living up to what I think he will. Which is becoming a champion.

He'd be 7th ..7 points behind Jr and 5 ahead of Kyle.

Joey is running well. Obviously it doesn't mean a damn thing as far as the championship is concerned but it's exciting for him as well as his fans, team and sponsors.

More FACTS you speak of:
O wins
7 finishes outside the Top 15
Still have 19 races to go to choke it up
Has led more than two laps in only 3 races

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for you that he's running well, but it's still a bit premature.

I am glad Joey is having his best year so far.
He is about a B plus driver imo, with potential to be a A

aw man..he was out in the back yard running in circles with a big flag ..JOEY"S IN THE TOP TEN

I think Danica is the hottest Cup driver, but if you find Joey attractive, who am I to judge? ;)
LOL. Point and match. :)

Seriously though, I like Joey and am glad he's running well with his new team. I really, REALLY wanted to see him win at California. He seems like a generally good kid, and though he certainly hasn't lived up to all the hype he came in with, he's not some talentless hack that doesn't deserve to be in the sport.

That said, Slice, Joey is not the greatest driver on the face of the earth, as you seem to be just ever so slightly admitting in this thread for once. I know you say that you just beat the Joey drum incessantly around here to get a reaction out of people, and it definitely works. However, at the risk of stating the obvious, if your ultimate goal is to get people to stop picking on Joey or to start liking Joey, your current approach is not the way to go about making it happen. Mind you, your fanboyish posts don't bother me personally. I'm just sayin'. ;)

And I would definitely go with Kenseth as the hottest driver so far this year. He's had some bad luck here and there, a few blown TRD engines and crashes, but it's hard to argue with those four wins and his improved qualifying and overall performance at tracks he typically doesn't run well at. I figured he would run decent after jumping to Gibbs but I didn't expect him to run so incredibly well so soon.

Just wana give a shout out to all you haters.
Joey Logano is currently the hottest cup driver.
That's okay, there are a few other female members around here from what I've seen.

What's that?

Oh. Well, it is Pride week. L O L

All jokes aside, the guy driving homeslice's old ride is having the better season. Maybe Joey needs to start some more fights.

No offense, but you are wrong. Clint Bowyer has a higher average finish over the last six races than Joey Logano. FACTS

EDIT: KEVIN HARVICK TOPS BOTH OF THEM.

Kevin Harvick 6.6666 avg finish, 2 top5s, 6 top 10s, 1 win Points: 234
Clint Bowyer 7.3333 avg finish, 2 top5s, 5 top 10s, 0 wins Points: 220
Joey Logano 7.6666 avg finish, 2 top5s, 5 top 10s, 0 Wins Points: 222

Over the last 6 races.

I think you need to retract your statement and issue an apology for wasting the forum's time.

Harvick is getting pretty hot too. Early in the season he'd ride around 10th-15th and end up with a decent finish but recently he's been in the 5-10 range a good amount. Also, outside of getting caught up in Kyle Busch's messes at the destructor plate tracks his worst finish this year is 14th.

Actually Harvick is the hottest driver right now if you go by JLoFan's criteria.

3. Kevin Harvick (4th) -- Harvick has also been consistently in the top 10 (he has seven in a row), though lately he has been closer to 10th than 1st. Still, since crashing at Talladega and finishing 40th two months ago, he has posted a 6.4 average finish.

You are right, that was a good read.

My math was wrong, f#cking Nascar.com. Anyways Harvick has 229 total points since the 600 and Joey 220. So Harvick actually has 9 more points than Joey since the 600.

Have you noticed the hurtin' his old car is putting on the field this year? Joey has gotta be embarrassed by that. Kenseth has won more races in half a season in the 20 car than Joey has won in his whole career.

Have you noticed that Joey actually has full time sponsership for once?

I nominate Mark Martin. This is kid SMOKIN hot. His wrinkles are just irresisably sexy. His short gray hair enchants my soul. He is my dream man.

I don't get why ppl feel the need to compare. Its a different car first of all where Toyota has had somewhat of an advantage over Ford. Matt is a champion with like 20 years experience or something. Joeys in his 5th year.. I bet Joey will have had a better career than Kenseth by the time theyre both retired... also Ratcliffe is the one making all these calls taking chances and for some reason never did that last year....okay so I was off with my math but it don't matter Joeys still out there putting up those numbers. Yeah Kenseths won but Joey's average finish is 10 positions better than Matts in the time frame weve been talking about. Regardless of anything having to do with any other driver. Joeys doin great right now and all u haters can choke on it lol.
