Hottest Cup Driver

as much as I hate to say it lol that sounds like a plan . . .

Yeah, really. When bread crumbs started all his pro-Logano gushing earlier this year, and I started getting annoyed, Stewart Fan PM'ed me and suggested I just put him on my ignore list. I wish I had listened then. :windows:

I don't get why ppl feel the need to compare. Its a different car first of all where Toyota has had somewhat of an advantage over Ford. Matt is a champion with like 20 years experience or something. Joeys in his 5th year.. I bet Joey will have had a better career than Kenseth by the time theyre both retired... also Ratcliffe is the one making all these calls taking chances and for some reason never did that last year....okay so I was off with my math but it don't matter Joeys still out there putting up those numbers. Yeah Kenseths won but Joey's average finish is 10 positions better than Matts in the time frame weve been talking about. Regardless of anything having to do with any other driver. Joeys doin great right now and all u haters can choke on it lol.

:XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL:

If Logano ever matches Kenseth's accomplishments, I'll personally buy you a steak and lobster dinner :XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL:

is,is not, is too is not! I can here this BS without turning the computer on. I KNOW < DON'T CLICK ON IT> But I just had to share my opinion .

THANK YOU!

Ur on! Only problem he's got about another 20-30 years left in him so it might be a while lol..

Sure, you aren't.
The Kryle comment more of a shot at Breath... and Im comparing Kenseth to the greats.. he has done great things but he is not one of the greats.. guess I should have specified.. but 28 wins isn't that many when u look at tony dale jj gordon and all the real greats.... aaaaaaand here comes the Loganos 2 wins argument LOL

If you guys want to see a female NASCAR driver with a female's body I suggest Maryeve Dufault (spelling might be a little off). She's supposed to drive the #79 that Jeffrey Earnhardt usually drives in the Nationwide Series sometime this year.

That was a shot at me? C'mon man!

Let's see here, at Joey's current pace, he's on pace to have about 10 wins in 20 years. (Doubtful. Probably won't be in the sport another 20 years.)

The oenalty doesnt show it but with the finishes and points earned in the races he's ahead. Also why do u keep mentioning laps led.. aren't u the one that went on about how the middle of the race doesn't matter? All ur laps led total shows is that ur boy is a choke artist lol.

C'mon ya'll, these 'Hottest...' threads are full of fail without pics.

LOL. Point and match. :)

Seriously though, I like Joey and am glad he's running well with his new team. I really, REALLY wanted to see him win at California. He seems like a generally good kid, and though he certainly hasn't lived up to all the hype he came in with, he's not some talentless hack that doesn't deserve to be in the sport.

That said, Slice, Joey is not the greatest driver on the face of the earth, as you seem to be just ever so slightly admitting in this thread for once. I know you say that you just beat the Joey drum incessantly around here to get a reaction out of people, and it definitely works. However, at the risk of stating the obvious, if your ultimate goal is to get people to stop picking on Joey or to start liking Joey, your current approach is not the way to go about making it happen. Mind you, your fanboyish posts don't bother me personally. I'm just sayin'. ;)

And I would definitely go with Kenseth as the hottest driver so far this year. He's had some bad luck here and there, a few blown TRD engines and crashes, but it's hard to argue with those four wins and his improved qualifying and overall performance at tracks he typically doesn't run well at. I figured he would run decent after jumping to Gibbs but I didn't expect him to run so incredibly well so soon.
Noooo no no noooo not at all.. they'll start to like him on their own when he starts winning... its the big I TOLD YOU SO that Im goin for lol..and I meant over the past 6 races(kenseth avg 17.7, Joey 7.7)
Actually it is 9.

Kevin Harvick after Coke 600... 362 points... after Kentucky..544.. a difference of 182 points.
Joey Logano after coke 600..298 points... after Kentucky.. 479... difference of 181 points...

Now I duno how u did in math class, but it was my best subject and from my calculations 182 - 181 = 1..... not 9

More FACTS you speak of:
O wins
7 finishes outside the Top 15
Still have 19 races to go to choke it up
Has led more than two laps in only 3 races

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for you that he's running well, but it's still a bit premature.
More facts.. gotta love em lol
2 wins.. good for him
7 finishes outside the top 20
5 finshes outside the top 30
Has led plenty of laps in 7 races that he didn't win... (Id rather run 10th all day and finish 8th than to lead all day and finish 30th lol)

Dont get me wrong Im happy for you that he's running well... but ur still a bit of a dick.

Well all I did is go to the driver stats page at Nascar.com and added up points earned for every race since and including the Coke 600. This is how I math

Kevin Harvick
Coke 600 47
Fed Ex 400 37
Party in the Poconos 35
Quicken Loans 400 42
Save Mart 350 34
Quaker State 400 34
Total: 229

Joey Logano
Coke 600 39
Fed Ex 400 37
Party in the Poconos 34
Quicken Loans 400 36
Save Mart 350 34
Quaker State 400 40
Total: 220

Kevin Harvick: 229
Joey Logano: 220
Difference: 9

The reason you get a difference of 1 is because you are not taking in account for the Coke 600 points. That is how I math son!

Im going by the standing AFTER the coke 600.....;) u know... including that race... what r u not adding the bonus points from joey leading laps or something bc thats wrong.

No sir, it is correct. Check it out for yourself. Each driver, each point from each race. Check it with and without the Coke 600. You will see what you did wrong.

Points after Coke 600: Harvick 362, Logano 298
Points after Kentucky: Harvick 544, Logano 479
Points since Coke 600: Harvick 182, Logano 181

Hope I remembered to carry the 1..... ;)

Yes points SINCE the Coke 600, meaning the 5 races not including the 600. Problem is in all of Slice's comparisons he is accounting for for the 600. So if you are going to use the 600 in they other stats then you have to use it in the points one too.

That being the case...
After Darlington: Harvick 315, Logano 259
