Cup RACE thread: Martinsville

I'm not really sure man. Is that a sarcastic question because of the rule or a legit question?

Cause I don't know the answer. But I do know that Bell had the position before riding the wall.

What's the consequence? It only has to be disqualification. Disqualification for a move that didn't advance the spot?

It's not like they can decide to give the spot up. He had the spot prior to that. The issue was Bubba giving up the spot.

But at the same time, the 24 had Chevies holding up the field behind him.

So, who the hell knows. What we know is that this is a total farce.
It’s a legit question, I wanna know what exactly the rule says, if it’s not any wall riding at all, he did that. If it’s not advancing position, he didn’t do that.

This “sport” is basically WWE on wheels. Shame on the France family for creating this BS.

Are you being held captive and forced to watch every week? In the almost 10 years I have been here, I have never seen you actually enjoy NASCAR racing. At some point, you need to cut your losses and find a new way to spend your Sundays.

If those two Chevys aren’t blocking Keselowski to protect Byron, bubba doesn’t do what he did.

You’re a Byron fan so I don’t expect you to criticize those actions.
This. Byron is a hypocritical *female dog* whining since the Chevies did the same for him. But I understand. He had to politic while the cameras were on. What’s he supposed to say? “There’s a chance, but hell I lost.”

It’s a legit question, I wanna know what exactly the rule says, if it’s not any wall riding at all, he did that. If it’s not advancing position, he didn’t do that.

There's no good outcome.

It's just a ****** system

DQ the 24 and the 20, plus the 3, 1 and 23. How is this much different from what Michael Waltrip Racing did back in 2013 at Richmond?

Well done Blaney. Given what I’m reading here though, it sounds like it wasn’t an altogether bad thing that I couldn’t watch the race. The other series’ finales look fair enough, but this one is cheesed.

I don't blame the 1 or the 3 for staying behind the 24, and I don't blame the 23 for faking a tire going down or a broken part or whatever the excuse is. I blame NASCAR for this stupid format. They got what they were asking for
Yep, manufactured drama.

Is there actually a crazy chance they DQ the 24 and 20 for race manipulation and put the 5 in ?

Remember 2008-2015ish when the worst things we had to complain about the tower were BS debris cautions? I never would've complained if I knew this and other NASCAR bull****tery were in our future.
