I don't know if many here were watching Mecum Auto Auctions on Saturday in Vegas but Joey was in the crowd and bought a Model T Ford that was being auctioned. It actually looks pretty neat.
He apparently has others at home and also gave a demonstration during the show on how to operate the one that he bought.

He told about a time that he took Edsel Ford (with DW in the back seat) out for a ride in the one he had at home. I'm sure that was quite a trip.

As someone actually younger than you, but who was watched since I has 5 years old, or maybe even younger but not old enough to remember, I'm just glad to have gotten to witness both in full effect. There are pros and cons to both.
I'd be ok with a 10 race playoff because then you at least see a body of work. This format you can have 2 or 3 really good races and win a championship.
I liked the 10 race format.. but there's something about seeing a team elevate when it's time that is very satisfying to me. I think every driver who has won under this format is a deserving champion and it has been more fun to watch than in previous years.
