Well at least the summer Daytona part was correct.Wrong answer. I had to look it up just to make sure I had the right answer, my bad.
Well, since I cheated, you can go ahead and ask a question, if you want to.Well at least the summer Daytona part was correct.
Which MotoGP World Champion went on to race in the Busch Series in the 90s?Well, since I cheated, you can go ahead and ask a question, if you want to.
The answer to the last question was 2003.
That is correct.That would be:
Kevin Schwantz
You can ask a question if you want. That would be:
Kevin Schwantz
Alright, this one is easy.
Who won the first ever points-paying race for Hendrick Motorsports in the Cup series?
I mean technically you could say it's a trick question based on the wording of "Hendrick Motorsports"Way too easy!
I'll let someone else answer, but they should include the track and the year as well
Tim Richmond?Alright, this one is easy.
Who won the first ever points-paying race for Hendrick Motorsports in the Cup series?
Winner!Jeff Bodine
Jeff? Really? Just to fill in all the blanks, Martinsville, spring 1984, and technically it was still All Star Racing then, not yet HMS. Ironically, the only "star" on the team at the time was crew chief Harry Hyde.Jeff Bodine
I'm not old enough to know that Hendrick was originally called All Star Racing. My apologies for making the question somewhat confusing. The question was supposed to read "Who won the first ever points-paying Cup series race for Hendrick?".Jeff? Really? Just to fill in all the blanks, Martinsville, spring 1984, and technically it was still All Star Racing then, not yet HMS. Ironically, the only "star" on the team at the time was crew chief Harry Hyde.
It was so easy that people think it was a trick question.I mean technically you could say it's a trick question based on the wording of "Hendrick Motorsports"
Well because the companies first win in '84 was All Star Racing as Jackman said, they didn't become Hendrick Motorsports in name until '85It was so easy that people think it was a trick question.
Kurt BuschWhat driver has won in the cup series in all 4 manufacturers? (Toyota, Chevy, Ford, Dodge) I can only think of one.
Yup. I though Kahne had done it as well, but his win with RPM was before they went to FordKurt Busch
Roush had 5 back in the day. I thought it was a 10 car playoff and they still didnt winI'm not the greatest at coming up with questions, but I'll give it a go.
Which team holds the record for most playoff drivers in a single season?
Winner!Roush had 5 back in the day. I thought it was a 10 car playoff and they still didnt win
Bobby AllisonWho is the fourth winningest driver in the history of the Cup series?
Ricky BobbyWho is the fourth winningest driver in the history of the Cup series?
Winner!Bobby Allison
Winner!Kahne?
I know, he always gave me old school vibes. The thing is, from the moment I started watching NASCAR regularly in 2004, Schrader was a mid-pack driver past his prime similar to guys like Kyle Petty and Derrike Cope. But Schrader was way more successful than those guys in the 90's.Schrader is the consummate racer, he loves it.
Lol I was just looking up LW Wright for that other thread about how it doesn't take talent to run at Daytona or Talladega (he's pretty good proof!) so I'm going to close Racing Reference to avoid cheating on this. IIRC it is somewhere around 10; I'm gonna answer that he won 8 races.Did you know that Ken Schrader was a competent driver during his prime?
How many Cup wins did he amass?
To my knowledge he is the only man to have both won a School Bus Figure 8 and a Cup race; true racer with experience sitting in everything from single seaters to dirt mods. I think I went about 20 years between seeing him race at the 98 Daytona 500 and my next time seeing him (which was at the Springfield Mile for the Bettenhausen 100 in 2018 or 2019).I know, he always gave me old school vibes. The thing is, from the moment I started watching NASCAR regularly in 2004, Schrader was a mid-pack driver past his prime similar to guys like Kyle Petty and Derrike Cope. He even had a stint in Hendrick, which is pretty crazy.
Winner!I swear I looked it up years ago and he didn't have as many as I expected he would have. Maybe 4?
