Thought they would give the pole to McMurray like they gave it to others in the past, since it was his last race before retiring. Oh well. Better luck next year.
This is exactly why the new aero package will be a disaster because now we will have the big one at every cookie cutter. Teams will be ticked that they have torn up so many cars this year!
It's not the plate tracks, it's the aero package. I definitely agree that the plate racing has not been as exciting in the past couple of years as it has been prior to that. Not sure why that is, but I remember cars being able to get a run down the backstretch in order to setup and pass coming...
I have always noticed that if iRacing's package is consistent with the Cup series, you can get a really good feel for how a race will play out. I remember when Chicago started wearing through tires pretty quickly, that some guys would manage their tires and stay out as long as they could while...
Oh count me in as one of the guys that loves to root against Kyle! That said, I respect his talents tremendously and would hate to see him leave. Nascar needs more guys like him not fewer.
I like the current length of the schedule, but understand why people want it shorter. My only suggestion would be to make sure that tracks with more than one date run two different formats, i.e. 400 miles with stages, and 500 without. NASCAR needs to get back to making each event unique rather...
I think this is the year of Kyle Busch. I think this will be his prime year since Ford will have to work with a new car and Chevy is still figuring things out. I'm not a KB fan, but I see Toyota crushing the field this year, and MTJ just not quite as good as previous years. Good luck to all...
It will be interesting to see what happens on the longer runs if the tires start wearing. Right now, on the shorter runs, I see single file racing mid to high line with it being very difficult to pass because no one wants to step out of line and risk being freight trained. I think you will need...
IMSA needs more race weekends. I don't want to wait a month until Sebring. They need a race every other week at a minimum. Ok, I'm just being selfish, but seriously, I'm having racing withdrawals already after the Daytona 24.
