    Clash RACE thread

I thought the last chance race showed how the "move 'em out of the way" style racing works. I'm not a fan of that style of racing.

    60th Rolex 24 at Daytona

The night racing impressed me. When I first started following the race Daytona wasn't lit and it was too dark to follow the action. The lighting on the cars is cool, it was easy to ID the cars at night. The track lighting helped too.

The caution rule where cars in class get grouped together keeps more cars in touch with the leader because they don't have to pass other classes after the caution. I was hoping there wouldn't be a late caution. There seem to be a lot of full course cautions.

    60th Rolex 24 at Daytona

I caught an interview with Kyle Petty last night comparing running the race when he ran back in the day to today. He pointed out that drivers only had to show up for practice and the race, today it requires a much bigger time commitment. He had a good perspective and saluted all the drivers...

NASCAR 2022 - Bold Prediction Thread

Kyle Busch won't win a Cup points race this year. I thought I'd brag a bit: Nice pen (making pens is one of my hobbies).

    Discovery Velocity

The channel has had a few names over the years. I like a lot of the programs on the channel but I never got into the drag racing "reality" programs. I've enjoyed all of the Wheeler Dealer iterations and I like Garage Squad (Boogy is a good addition but I do miss Heather).

    Dodge returning

For snow plowing you need a heavy duty vehicle, I know that stock F150s have tranny problems when plowing (also inexperienced drivers can cause truck problems).

    2022 IndyCar News/Misc.

Jimmie Johnson is to run the full Indycar series next year. I came across the following story: https://apnews.com/article/sports-lifestyle-business-nascar-indianapolis-500-7d497d208fa670d55e79ef532a5a1a10 I think Johnson is a great driver but his performance last year was below my...

    Creative/memorable rule bending

I came across a couple F1 cheats: An F1 innovation happened when they limited the fuel to one tank full, a team made the gas tank into a refrigerator to get a little more fuel. F1 starts each race when the start lights turn off, a couple teams determined a radio signal turned the lights out...
