Ballsy stuff from Rinus!
Seriously, why doesn't this series draw more attention / viewers? It consistently offers good solid racing. With multiple classes, you can usually find a battle for the lead in at least one of them. One hour to go and there's no way to tell who's going to win. Just crazy. If they run this hard today, how bonkers are the sprint races going to be?
Need to make sure they don’t all wreck each other up there first lolPorsche really is about to sweep the GTD classes.
Sheesh.
Can we talk about Heylen in the 16 staying in contact with the GTD Pro cars?Need to make sure they don’t all wreck each other up there first lol
Wasn't he being told to stay there? Where would he be if they took the leash off? This is fantastic!

That's pretty nutty pace only being like a tenth off of the Pro/Factory teams.
Choosing to keep GTD Pro and GTD on the same BoP table was a great decision. Plenty of pros in GTD that are just as quick as the next class. Hope they keep it that way.Can we talk about Heylen in the 16 staying in contact with the GTD Pro cars?

Sportscar racing always gets the short end of the stick. It's always been this way. Even in 1970, the supposed golden era, there was no one there. Literally, no one. Check the old photos of the stands have maybe a dozen people in it, yet those were to good old days. As long as we get to see it, I'm not too worried about "popularity." We've seen "popular" series fold up and disappear, so I'll take what we have now because it's sustainable.Seriously, why doesn't this series draw more attention / viewers? That didn’t take long.Going to be interesting to see how much Duval can close
The Acuras have been getting better mileage all race. If the Caddy's think they can do it, the #10 and #60 should be able to also.Cadillacs trying to make it on fuel without stopping again?
This.This race never fails
I never really liked the idea of NASCAR-stlye full-course cautions in IMSA. This makes an edurance race seem like a series of sprint races.
Cars have to be recovered, so I'm not sure unless IMSA comes up with its own VSC system. It entertains the casuals and attendance looks better, so I dunno
