So now that the 2013 chase field is set. Who do you think can make the best run over the next 10 races and come out on top as the NSCS 2013 Champion?

Im hoping Joey can pull it off but I doubt it, his lack of experience racing for a title will most likely hinder his progress, at least this year. While he is my pick, that's more of a hope than a realistic expectation. It would be nice to see him claim the youngest champion record. If he can maintain running the way he has been (besides ricmond) I think realistically he might come out of it with a top 5 spot in the standings.

I think Carl Edwards is a pretty good choice. He obviously isn't one of the favorites but he spent most of the season in the top 3 in points, with 2 wins and the momentum coming into the chase I think he can redeem his missed opportunity and take the championship this year.

I've been saying JJ all year, but the way they've run the last month or so, I think I'll go with Kenseth instead.

Did you send MWR a "Thank You" card for getting Joey in the Chase? Better yet, send them a donation to help them pay their fine.

I seriously want JoLo to win this now.......seems as he wouldn't be there without MWR.

Kyle Busch. He is past due, and his team is finally starting to find some consistency. I think it's his year. He's definitely talented enough to win at least one title.

Damn what took you so long.

I was expecting that to be your very first words. :D

Logano could pull off a complete upset but chances are he'll get a rude awkanng in his first Chase appearance.

Obviously I'm hoping for Kenseth and feel he's as a legitimate contender as anyone but with all the hooplah surrounding HMS, MWR and Newman, it's a perfect opportunity for Edwards, Busch.5, Harvick or Kenseth to quietly slip out the back door with the big prize. KuBu and team could walk right over the entire field if they can put and keep it together for at least 9 of 10 races.

Depends. How much is NASCAR charging for a fake Debris Caution? If the price is high, only the rich teams will be able to afford it.

I have about 4 on my list of possible champions. Last year I had 3, but Brad was NOT one of them.
Someone could really come out of the woodwork and take it all.

My heart says Kenseth or Harvick.

My brain says Johnson. He's going into the Chase with zero momentum but it's hard to bet against the ole five-time.

I think Bowyer aka Darth Vader may be a threat as well.

I believe Matt Kenseth will get it done this year. Johnson and the Busch brothers are the only other serious contenders.

Newman.

That would be so freaking sweet.

Alot of F yous will be displayed if Newman wins this thing. I'd love to see it happen.

either Busch would be fine with me. Kurt winning in the 78 would be an awesome achievement.

Personally, I want to see Kurt Bucsh win it with Furniture Row. But I really can't call it. Harvick, Kenseth, KyBu.

1.JJ.
2. Matt will probably win more, but have more DNFs.
3. Kyle, could happen I think he does well, just doesnt win it all.
4. Harvick & Edwards a small chance like 1%. They both just need a little more speed for bonus points.

Kurt doesnt have the crew

Ryan Newman, he's got 6 pissed off teammates to help him.

It's hard to say since no team has been dominant leading up to the chase, but if I had to pick I'd go with JJ, Harvick, or Kurt.

Why not, you say MW and his teams and crews did nothing wrong, is this a double standard from you ted?

Just the usual old guys short memory standard . I forget everything week to week.

The orb is a little too cloudy to make anything out for certain...
I think half of them have the ability to put together some solid runs at the top spot but you're going to have to factor in luck, as well.
It wouldn't bother me at all if Kyle, Matt, Carl or Kurt won the Championship.

Sentimental favorite...#78....But would really like to see the other lame duck driver win it all.....

Carl Edwards or Kyle Busch. Kurt could but I think his pit crew will hold him back.

If they can keep from getting into more trouble, I expect either Kenseth or Johnson to win it. Maybe Kyle Busch (though I hope he doesn't). If Kurt Busch had a better pit crew, I would add him as well.
