They aren't silent but they won't interrupt anyone's sleep. Johali could attest to that too. I know he owns one. There are only a couple brands that aren't noisy. You have to pay top $ for them but if you're concerned with disturbing your neighbors a Honda generator is a good choice.

Best $2000 I ever spent for recreation or emergencies. Honda EU3000-is.
 
Hoping Toyota gets off their a$$ and gets a win this weekend. History would dictate otherwise though: Toyota is 2-for-29 on plate tracks since coming into the Sprint Cup series.

I got myself the Yamaha EF 2000, absolutely love the thing. Can't beat a quality inverted generator for recreation activities. Aka drinking beer outside.

I guess a lot of the personnel at TRD went home to deal with the disaster on the home front.

Im just curious if theyre going to pull the same thing they did with Bell... when I called Bell and asked they said Speed went out of business and was running ou the contract until May 1st... Im wondering if Shaw just has a longer contract?

I never really thought about it until recently but the fact that you get the exact same 4 or 5 commercials every time, and they're all commercials for shows on Speed.. just shows they have no sponsors and its probably true they are going or have already gone out of business and are just running out contracts so they can keep their money.

I immediately wanted to call Bell and say **** you and sign up with Shaw but Im going to wait to see because I think this might be the case. This is the qualifying session I've been waiting to see anyway and its on Fox. So Im not in a huge rush... yet. Im sure when theres a truck race I'll get antsy.

Yeah they have shaw satellite at work and I love watching it on my break. I dont have it at home....but there are other ways to watch...:growl:

Yeah but I don't think they have live feeds for practice and qualifying... if they do Ill find em... Im just not ready to make provider changes not knowing if Speed will even be sticking around.
 
You know maybe I just don't have my eyes trained enough yet or something... but for some reason I like that Joey was slowest in final practice. Is that weird? Lol.. I didn't watch practice but I think it's because they were doing single car runs. Which has worked out well for some in the past. I just hope the wheel lands on $1 when Joey decides to take a spin.

The muffler is not the only source of the noise. Engine and generator rattle contributes a great deal to the noise level. I built a scooter muffler for a regular generator and it was a waste of time and money.

I thought we were talking about real generators not one that will run your blender to mix drinks, hell a power inverter will do that for you.

A Honda EU3000IS will power my RV, air conditioner, freezer, refrigerator, TVs, lights, everything at the same time. It's not a toy It's the real deal.
