2016 NBA Playoffs

Back to hero ball.

OKC did it to themselves, stop the hero ball bs and move the ball. The days of those isolation plays are done.

They had the game and let it slip. Durant and Westbrook have to trust the other players around them, heck even with less than five minutes left. Trust them, it's a team sport.

There's the Thunder everyone knows. You can never count on that bunch for certain.

What a freaking series. Oracle is going to be poppin' on Monday.

It was popping tonight. Lol

If OKC doesn't win on Monday this game is going to haunt Durant for a long time. Cold as hell all night.

Game 6 was hard to watch. I like Oklahoma City much better and I really just naturally are rooting for them to win. Listening to the media just fawn all over the Warriors and Steph Curry, who I do like, by the way, but to say he is better or more valuable to his team than Lebron is simply ludicrous, just makes me root even that much harder against the Warriors. The way the NBA office chose to not suspend Draymond Green to try to put the Warriors in the Finals to improve the TV ratings is a factor in who you just naturally find yourself rooting for, as well.

That being said, as a Cavs fan, even though we would have the home court advantage over the Thunder, I'd really rather face the Warriors in the Finals. I honestly fear the Thunder more than I do the Warriors with the way they have been playing lately and I want revenge on the Warriors for beating us last year without Kevin Love or a healthy Kyrie Irving. I'm totally good with facing the Thunder, believe me, but given my choice, I'd pick Golden State.

That's a pretty insane wish.

You will have a lot better time with OKC than you will with the Warriors. I dont think Cavs win even 2 games against the Warriors unless they have another lapse like in this series.

Warriors are like Spurs on super steroids. They move the ball, spread the floor like no one I've ever since since the Bulls team. IMO, wanting the Warriors is inviting trouble. If I could choose I'd have the easier path to victory.

The scary thing about this Warriors team is that they can be down 10 with 30 seconds to go and be tied with 5 seconds to go. Their 3s are on command. At least with the Thunder you will get at least one massive choke per game.

I'd much rather take my chances with Durant/Westbrook turning into turnover machines and disappearing down the stretch than hoping that Klay and Steph are both off for the whole game. The way they shoot, they can be off for three quarters and then bury you in the fourth.

I want the Warriors. Redemption for last season. They aren't beating a healthy Cavs team. The Cavs aren't 2 stars down this Finals like last years.

OKC came to play but GSW has the 3 ball working so well right now.

Congrats to the Warriors but you have to feel bad for OKC

Yup. Some great ball games all for not, again. GSW is insanely good though. Looking for them to 2-peat

I dont feel bad for them at all.

If you're up 3-1 on these Warriors team and still cant get it done, GTFO.

OKC are so choke prone. Fakk

They are about to separate. I can feel it. KD to LAL stamp it!!!!

I almost feel tempted to want him too but we already have too many chokers on the Spurs as it is. lol

Chokelahoma City Blunder back to their old ways. The Warriors are one of the best teams of all-time but man..you need to win one out of three, including one at home, and you can't do it. They had big leads in Game 6 and 7 as well. C'mon.

Be interesting to see what happens with OKC in the next couple of offseasons with KD and Westbrook.

With the way Cleveland played in Toronto in the ECF I'd absolutely want home court over the Thunder than having to play four, if it goes that far, in Oakland. But I'm not a Cavs fan. We'll see.

Well, many Cavs fans got our wish, now we'll just see how it plays out. It wouldn't matter to me who we were playing I'd have to go in expecting to lose the Finals as a self-defense mechanism. I've been crushed so many times when we were on the brink of a title in one of the three major sports in the last 40 years or so, I just can't let myself fully enjoy it and root whole heartedly out of fear of just being crushed again.

What happened tonight x3 and it's all over.

This will be a quicky.

Curry and Thompson combined to go 8/27 as well. The rest of the series probably won't play out entirely like tonight.

Yeah this was a game Cavs had to have with the 2 most productive Warriors really off tonight. Next game might be over before the first quarter ends in favor of the Warriors if those two light it up early.

Warriors do not mess around. They can put you down 20 in less than 5 minutes. They did it tonight against them with just their bench. You let Barbosa, Livingston and Barnes go deep in you. That's sad.

Yeah, Cleveland dropping a game by 15 while Steph and Klay played as bad as they've played all postseason isn't a good sign. Also, letting Livingston go for 20 is unacceptable.

We'll see how things play out tonight. I don't see J.R. Smith doing absolutely nothing again tonight, but we'll see. He disappeared for the entire Finals last year, and Klay Thompson and Curry did for much of it as well. Games 1 and 2 often have very little in common with each other as that is usually when the biggest adjustments are made. Lebron's teams have won their last 9 game 2's after they lost game 1, just so you know. That's a pretty unbelievable stat, but that's too many games to be a coincidence.

You boys starting to regret this yet? LOL

Another blowout.

Curry is not playing up to his standards either. Warriors are literally playing bored here.

This has 2007 Finals level of excitement written all over. Boring Finals man.

Yeah, he did jack **** in Game 1 and was in foul trouble for much of tonight. The Warriors are a tremendous team all-around.

Poor LeBron, other then a injured Wade who would go off one night and suck the next he's never had a guy step up and help him come finals time. He can't do it by himself. I thought Kyrie was an elite PG but he's being exposed. And I hated the love trade the day they made it, Wiggins plays killer D and has much more upside.

Love/Irving didn't compare to Wade/Bosh to begin with but Love's game isn't the same as it was in Minnesota.

This is why I can't let myself get overly emotionally invested in any Cleveland sports winning it all any more. They have the talent to beat the Warriors, no doubt. If they were playing like they were 2-3 weeks ago they would have won at least one of those games in Oakland, as it is, it looks like another "wait until next year" scenario.

Kurt wants Golden State to win. :(

Yawn. Blowout, blowout, blowout. Not anything like last year's first few Finals games.

Definitely the response Cleveland needed.

The real Cavs finally showed up last night. We'll see what happens from here, but if they don't win again on Friday night last night was for naught.
