Most of these drivers are like "GTFO with that". One of them (Stenhouse I think) said something to the effect of tune in to the race because it's gonna be great when asked about it. I wasn't paying close attention, focused on K&N.

Can't remember where it was said, but it was mentioned this weekend will be the determining factor whether Jimmie can be a contender. Third quickest in first practice ain't a bad place to start.

Johnson needs a decent day, scoring 24 points is what they say. I'm sure we will hear that and everybody else a hundred times race day. 5 of them need a win, so it is a race for the bottom with the usual suspects at the bottom. Don't know how they are going to try to bamboozle us and dazzle us with their B.S. oh the drama.

Jimmie's a contender until he's eliminated, and not one lap before.
I was referring more so to the amount of fans that have discounted him before the playoffs. I for one am expecting to see him in the round of 8 at the bare minimum. I saw a interview about his strategy for playoffs and he basically said, consistency in the first round, a win in the next two rounds is the easiest route to Homestead which sums up his runs thus far IMO.

yeah I was with ya from the start. Showing JJ's car has enough speed to make it into the next round. Needs to run mistake free and not get caught up in a wreck

The drama may come from RCR teammates.

When is Newman's contract up, I wonder ;)

Here is what they are saying, pretty good guess the hat and no neck will be going at it. I'm guessing Stenhouse eats the wall again.

Don't think that #41 isn't willing to do whatever he has to as well. If he gets near the front and needs the win (likely that he will), he wont think twice about taking it.
