Supposed to rain Saturday...:(

Yeah, but supposed to be out of there for the big show Sunday. Could be worse with this La Nina Fa Nina La Nina or whatever winter. Models have been consistent with some light rain Saturday (some say early, some say later), but Sunday looks good (possible sprinkles in the a.m.). Possible precipitation on Sat. makes Friday Practice and qualifying crucial. Can't wait.

Some hate my posts, and a few like or don't mind, but I will tell you this people....When Auto Club week hits, I am like a 9 year old waiting for Christmas. Seriously. Sleep is hard to come by. I am so jacked. So jacked! Say what you want, but my love for this sport is real.

If the weather forecast doesn't change between now and the weekend(lol), the Xfinity race is gonna be a night race.

SAME love it when NASCAR comes out to my neck of the woods.

On this day 24 years ago, Morgan Shepherd captured his last career win at Atlanta

Hopefully the rain sticks and I can drive down Sunday Night for the race on Monday.

Oh yeah. The joint needs plates. The other one similar to it in the midwest too.

Small bore plates would be best.

Help turn this show around 'n bring up those TV numbers.

I've always wanted to sit in grand stand 5/6(three edits to remember where tf I wanted to sit, lol) during the entire Long Beach Grand Prix weekend... go ahead, bring the plates to Fontana.

The thing that's cool about Fontana is the width. 75' wide = high entry speeds and multiple grooves through the corners.
Plates would destroy the racing and promote follow the leader.

Good thing nobody is talking about putting plates on at Fontana. Now, back to the issue at hand, is it likely Xfinity runs at night due to the rain? I wasn't a fan when fontana had a night race so I'd kind of like to see it happen just once.

Actually we were discussing the addition of plates at previous non-plate tracks.

Do they sell tickets for the garage area?

They had a garage tour pack that I was considering buying and coming from Utah to see the race.

California Speedway has turned into one of my favorite tracks in the past few years with the way the asphalt has aged. I wish the Truck Series would run here instead of one of the ISC cookie cutters.

Who'd have guessed Burton would grow up to a "special" announcer.

I mean sure it's had good races the last few years but it spent a decade as the worst track on the schedule I still don't get excited for it.

Anyone have a paint scheme preview?

I completely understand. Next week, I'll be the same way.
