Just don't understand why he becomes a mechanic, he was instrumental in getting his hands on the car and helping out with StarCom in getting the car ready.

Great point. Pit selection at M'ville's narrow road is more critical than other places.

Ugh, Truex on the pole for the next two races. Don't know what happened to Larson in qualifying. He nailed a 28.5 in practice, way faster than anyone else, then struggled to get 29.0's in quals. Starts 14th.

It was explained a few times both during practice and qualifying why , Martinsville weekend is a two day show, practice on Saturday, qualifying and race on Sunday, NASCAR has determined there is not enough time after qualifying on Sunday for the teams to ready for the race, like getting their pit condo's:laugh: set up and other pre race things that need to be done before the green flag drops.

So this weekend qualifying is used for Martinsville pit stall picks.

If that's the case, then make it a 3 day show like most others, or find a spot to squeeze an hour of qualifying into. Getting a top pit stall at one track because you were good at another track just stinks. But thanks for explaining it.

The point is for it to be a two day show, not a three day show, so there is that .
