It's freakin' Sunday, and posters already ****ting on the race. Dear God....might be time for a Board vacation. If this is what a true fan is, then I will stick with my bull****.

PJ1 being applied in all four turns this weekend, from the middle groove up to the wall. To Junior's point though, what exactly is the middle groove at New Hampshire? Regardless, being applied all the way up to the barrier at a place like NHMS is interesting.

I really wish Goodyear would get their s*** together and bring a tire that's worth a damn one of these weeks. I get that the compound is the cheaper option, but that's just that - it's a cheap alternative that does a half assed job. A lot of smart people in this sport but none of them know how to fix the competition. I don't buy it.

why in the sam hell are you going to make a tire that fails? They are still talking about the Indy fiasco, shouldn't that be enough proof? About like hail yeah we are going to lease an engine the goes like hell but there is about a 50 50 chance it will blow up.:D They are still laughing about the Explodas Toyota's a few years back. heads rolled at TRD over that deal. VHT is a decent compromise, Goodyear isn't going to make a soft tire that fails, they talk a great story about what all they do, but the result continues to stay the same, new track surface..hockey pucks

Goodyear isn't capable of making a fail proof tire? In this day and age of resources, technology and endless ways of experimenting and tire tests?

they are making one now? They couldn't back in the day..they were polyester also not radials

Anybody else think this could be the week Bowyer finally gets his win this year? SHR and Bowyer have traditionally been pretty good at New Hampshire. Also I think this track is okay, at least it isn't as boring as Indy is now days.

Guys its not that Loudon is a bad track its just the gen 6 is a poorly designed **** box. This sport deserves bettero_O

I've watched 4 different versions of cars race there. It is a one grove track and who ever can hug the bottom has good results. Usually produces a very little passing yawner race.

Most people in different sports will tell you competition is good for the sport, so Nascar gets rid of Hoosier, seems like a different tire option wouldn't be bad. I'm sure Goodyear more than paid their share to get rid of Hoosier.

Hoosier left on their own. But I believe it would make a difference if they had some competition
