2018 Bristol - Food City 500 - Pre-Race Thread

Well at least it doesn't look like a gully-washer (yet)...,maybe we can get a jet dryer vortex going

Here's what the radar looks like. Bristol is the plus sign (+) east of Kingsport.

Never understood why the short tracks, especially Bristol, doesnt utilize tarps for rain delays as to not lose the track.

Serious question: Why can't the cars be equipped with wipers and run on rain tires? I mean you could still throw out a red flag if it started coming down heavy and got too slippery or the visibility was too bad, but its just a little drizzle.

Lucky Charms for Jimmies sponsor next year is almost too good to be true

How the **** did EVERYONE think the red flag was over, announcers, teams, crews... but NASCAR said “nah fam”?

**** 2018

This schedule is a dumpster fire. I was glad to see Fox pretty much call it out in the pre-race show.

Martinsville has the two worst dates on the scheduled, followed by Bristol (Spring) and Atlanta. Ironically, these are atop the list of favorite tracks for NASCAR fans.

9 team wants to know if they can work on the car while they're being held a lap. lmao

Hoots is now holding them for more laps.

Tough break for Elliot, that 1 lap penalty may knock him of a top 35.
