Did this car go through the OSS and inspections prior to being unwrapped?

NASCAR allowed RPM to “unwrap” the car today. This is what it will look like today (this scheme was underneath the wrap).

A man gave me the 1984 Pit Board sign for @RCRracing today. Says it was stolen out of the pits at a race back then, passed through many a hand. It’s legit and it’s going back home.
I love how Dale Jr. is holding it --- like they used to, standing out in pit road.
Quit yelling at me.That's the first place I looked, but I looked at Sunday's schedule at the bottom!
They must be bored.

There is no real inspection today. Cars were inspected before qualifying this weekend and then impounded -- all qualifying results stand ... Next week at Indy, it will be opposite with no prequalifying tech, cars impounded & then tech on Sunday morning. #nascar
"What were the unapproved adjustments on the 48? No one is saying or don’t they know? He hit the wall but that sends the 48 to the rear??"

Because an impound race, any pulling on the fenders/work on the body is considered an unapproved adjustment.

If so thats a load of BS especially after the commotion NASCAR made about certain schemes being disallowed.

The peeling off the wrap was an approved adjustment. They had an official there to make sure it was the only thing done.
Yes, but was the car wrapped during OSS?Bob PockrassVerified account @bobpockrass

How do you know there wasn't, you get sent to the rear for fixing something that is broke or in J Earnhardt's case you spin out and need tiresHow about having an official there while the 48 pulls the fender? This is an absolute bunch of crap. Sorry. A complete joke.
So car passes tech, changes paint scheme and not put through tech again.Bob PockrassVerified account @bobpockrass
Car already was through tech with other scheme. No tech today unless top-5 or random

Drivers told under caution do not pull down to enter pit road until hitting the D in Darlington that is on the wall in Turn 4. Helps avoid a pulling up to pit penalty.
I wonder what they were hiding under that wrap?So car passes tech, changes paint scheme and not put through tech again.
Unreal.
Theres probably no change and it will have zero effect on performance but the fact that the process wasn’t flagged by NASCAR just opens the door up for othet teams to get one passed inspection.I wonder what they were hiding under that wrap?
yeah that will make a hell of a difference, I am sure Nascar will open up the gates on that deal and double wrapped cars will be the standard.Theres probably no change and it will have zero effect on performance but the fact that the process wasn’t flagged by NASCAR just opens the door up for othet teams to get one passed inspection.
Greeting! Have a great time.Greetings from Pearson Tower, section L, row 33!
A chance of scattered showers.Just tuned in, did I hear right, there might be weather tonight?
I don't think you got that quite right, but carry on, your quarky comments whenever I post something that might be significant and on topic and your attempt to make it personal are always welcomed.Rest assured, nobody will be able to catch them during the race .... you wasted a box of tissues
