As far as I know, Charlie, the drivers were asked what emojii would they put on the side of their car.
Most gave the middle finger, some the pile of poop.
Dale Jr. said the little toilet emojii.

NASCAR cars are getting special playoff decals, to both promote playoff hashtags/handles and to help @RaceTeamAllianc figure out media exposure value of the contingency area (which teams now own). Move is being announced tomorrow but some teams started posting about it today.

The real travesty is that someone gets paid to think of that $hit sitting behind a desk and thinks it’s a good idea. Hideously stupid, I can’t imagine Cale, Petty, Earnhardt, Wallace or Martin running that type of silliness on their cars.

Thanks. I'm notoriously underexposed to pop culture and social media. There are toilet, finger, and poop emojis?

Sounds harmless but pointless. I recall NASCAR tried something like this last year. I don't remember if anyone here cared or if it raised the public's awareness of the playoffs. Based on their responses, it sounds like the drivers don't care either.

The voices are grating, but it is funny and cleaver, with lots of inside jokes. You should youtube the nascar episode. Cartman? is driving a "NASCAR" sponsored by Vagisil. There is a big wreck, and Danica exits her car and starts walking off the track. Cartman runs her over because "..she was blocking me". :XXROFL:

The sad part is that Brian denied for years that there was anything wrong with the sport. In his mind, all the attendance and viewership problems were due to the bad economy.

I guess Emoji's boost the economy? :idunno:

It just looked like bad animation. If you're going to do animation, spend some of the money on artists. I'm not expecting Pixar, but something a step up from the old 'Draw the Turtle' ads on matchbook covers.

Playoff drivers will carry their Twitter hashtag/emoji on front side of car. Non-playoff drivers will display Twitter bird and #NASCARPlayoffs ... RTA, which will get to sell that front side of car as contingency sponsors will no longer be there, partly behind implementation.

RTA — race team alliance. They will be able to sell the area of car where contingency stickers were and distribute the proceeds to all the teams.
