Kahne had a win at Huset's in their weekly series as a way to prep for the High Bank Nationals but yeah, otherwise it hasn't been great. I can't blame him either for not getting to the feature automatically given how Grandview was a one groove track for most of the heat races.

The kid, Corey Day, put the moves on Larson to win the dash and start on the pole for the feature. Good race

That dash was a lot more entertaining than most. Corey Day barely outduels Larson for the win and pole position. Many sliders traded back and forth. He looks very impressive thus far in the 7BC.

Seen a lot of Corey Day this year and every time I see him, he steps his game up to meet the competition around him. That's very impressive for a 17 year old.
