U-tube weather nerds saying Southeast gonna freeze mid-January thru mid-Feb. Likely in single digits here in NC. Possibly heavy snow. Or 4 inches like it usually does.

Had about 28 different models but they all agreed...gonna get COLD! Might be a good time to dig up the end of heat tape on waterline and plug it in. No idea if still works. Put tape on in 2013-2015? Has a thermostat. I don't really trust those thing. Essentially a dead short under the house.

I've heard much of the same. Cold lasts into February.

I hate it for the people still recovering from Hurricane Helene out west, but it's about time we have a real winter. This should also help with The Pollenation too. Last year, pollen season ran from February through May into June, then it got blazing hot.

We did get our first measurable snow this weekend, back to rain for now, more snow in the forecast for next week.
Thankfully blizzards ain't a thing here.

The view outside of work about 3 hours ago. I just got back home. Needless to say, we didn’t have many customers.
