In fairness, NBC also wanted a late start time. Which is why the race starts closer to 12:45 now.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he punts on it for at least a few years. The media obligations between both are already an annoyance for him and at this point, the weather just seems determined to make it known it isn’t meant to be.
