Penskes clamp is ratcheting up to a 1000#'s per square inch.
This really is a perfect time for this caution.

Is it really possible Colin Braun is 36? I was there for his first race at 16 yrs old.

The cautions can be a bit drawn out, but that’ll happen when you have wave arounds, split pit procedure, and class split.

I get why people enjoy it. Bunching up the field means it'll get less drawn out and there will be more wheel-to-wheel battles.

For me it kinda changes the character of the race from a 24-hour-race to a series of sprints.

I wasn't a fan of the rule change at Le Mans but unlike IMSA they make a difference between full course yellow and a safety car.
Unless there is a huge multi-car wreck it sure would be possible to just let the cars circle at minimum speed.
