Farfus doing Farfus things…guy was doing stuff like that in touring cars twenty years ago.
BumpThey’re going to need 4 different boxes to watch every class the last hour or so. Going to be tight against the board
You gotta be ****ting me. Not Spike!Seems like any time someone establishes themselves in LMP2 some sort of calamity befalls them. Tough.
I get why people enjoy it. Bunching up the field means it'll get less drawn out and there will be more wheel-to-wheel battles. It’s slowly becoming that way at Le Mans as well, and there’s a lot more room for safety vehicle intervention there. Daytona is a tricky place to find gaps for safety workers to attend to incidents. Is it “pure”…probably not. Is it safer and does it keep things more interesting for most people…yes. Competitors seem to enjoy it so I don’t foresee a process change anytime soon.
The cautions can be a bit drawn out, but that’ll happen when you have wave arounds, split pit procedure, and class split.
Looks like game over now…that thing is porpoising terribly.Big mistake by the BMW trying to make that move there
I don't think the grass was to blame for Preece's flip.Bring back the Bus Stop grass…
Now the 18...Seems like any time someone establishes themselves in LMP2 some sort of calamity befalls them. Tough.
And a drive through for the 52 promotes the 8 from 3rd to the lead! Now the 18...
This looks a lot like late-2010s NASCAR road course racing. Healthy aggression but no painfully stupid moves and no RR hooks.Payback is, in fact, a bitch.
