2026 Weather

Nah, this type of rain is normal here. None and then a bunch all at once.
I work outdoors, should be a good time.
 
Winter has come early this year. I’ve been on the road since November 30th mainly running Chicago to western Canada routes. Also as far north as Fort McMurray, Alberta Canada. Been through several snow/ice storms with temps down to -20’s and snow depths of 15” or more. That kind of ‘cold’ and snow normally hits a little later than the beginning of December. It’s gonna be a long winter. Slow down and stay safe out there.

I came back from Fort McMurray just the other day. Just in time from the looks of their current forecast…..

And just for clarification, those temps are Fahrenheit and not Celsius. I don’t know how people can live like that. I never shut my truck off in those temps. I even idle up to 1000 rpm’s @ night just to get some heat. My normal idle is 600 rpm’s.

Grab one of those truck stop electric blankets. They work pretty decent.
 
Lots of high wind warnings for today in northern Oregon. Everything from 40-50 to 65! Not good. They were a bit hesitant yesterday about the exact forecast even saying it could be a lot less which I'm all for that. I hate wind! It can rain all it wants but wind just causes so much destruction.
