use to be one of the best events of the season. but I agree with you 100%. it hasn't been good since the 90s.

There's nothing unique about this race anymore, I miss the special paint schemes as well

The cooler temps is certainly a big factor. But this track has rarely produced thrilling racing + these cars have sucked for years. Night racing isnt the issue

Charlotte might be the snooziest 1.5 out there. All of the other intermediates this year have been pretty good, imo.
