Ambrose Vs Mears

There's more to that clip than what you've posted. In a clip posted earlier Ambrose is trying to walk away when mears grabs and turns him round. Mears got what he deserved, IMHO of course.

The fog robbed of us seeing a thiller from Manila type moment. I can visualize a mouthpiece flying thru the air (yes I know Mears wasnt wearing a mouthpiece, but this is the internets, anything is possible).

I hadn't noticed this earlier... Around 0:22 of the video, the crew guy in white punches Ambrose in the side of the head lol

The uneducated drunk rednecks who run NASCRAP have already made a comment condoning barbaric behavior. If a player in the NBA...MLB...NFL... punches another player they are suspended immediately...Pushing and shoving is one thing...but when you punch a person in/near the eye you could end that persons career...Both drivers need suspensions...Ambrose needs the more severe penalty of the two...Unfortunately the NASCRAP BRASS wont react till they monitor the media coverage and fan sentiment, just like previous situations that questioned their sports/governing bodys respectability...Flame Away...LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

When you aggressively put your hands on another person, you just might get socked in the eye.

Wow yeah he definitely did... That was apussy move.. at least Ambrose stood in front of Mears and hit him only after being pushed. What an idiot theres a good chance that guy will lose his job for that move... I hope he does.

I can't even tell whose team he's on. I would assume Casey Mears', but his firesuit is different from all the others.

I know right... I was thinking the same thing.. Who are Mears' team mates? Maybe someone from one of those teams... Do they even have more than one car? lol I feel like I should know this but I cant think of it right now.

:boxing:You guys are missing the real story. This had nothing to do with racing. Marcos is a strong breast feeding advocate, and at the conclusion of the race had some choice words for Kasey. Kasey fired back with a crack about if Marcos didn't suck so bad (no pun intended), he wouldn't have screwed a bunch of sick kids out of $900,000. Then, it was on. Very unfortunate.:sarcasm:

I think casey is going to end up with a big bruise and be ok. however if that punch is a little lower, broken jaw, more straight on broken nose. That was a wicked shot

Really? That's a pretty low blow from Casey... glad Marcos got the high shot lol

What a chicken**** move. mears needs to open his wallet for instigating this by shoving Ambrose. That other guy who threw the sucker punch needs to be at the unemployment office tomorrow morning.

That would be Kasey and not Casey.

Casey Mears participated in Jimmie Johnson's charity 5K race Sunday morning and admitted that yes,Marcos Ambrose did land the punch he threw towards Mears Saturday night.

Mears said his left-eye area, the place where Ambrose connected, was fine and had a sense of humor about the incident.

It's OK, he got me good though," Mears said. "He did. That's one thing I can say, is that out of all the NASCAR fights or punches or when you see people swing, usually it's a lot of fly swatting. He actually connected, so that was pretty good."

Ambrose was 18th while Mears was 19th. Mears also didn't rule out retaliation in the future, though we're not sure what the on-track protocol for punch revenge is.

"I don't think it something you just forget," Mears said. "Obviously, that's kind of where it sits."

NASCAR is investigatiing the incident and penalties, if there are any, will likely be announced on Tuesday

It doesn't matter to me either way, I did think it was a bit of a cheap shot on Ambrose part but what the hell, it's racing.

This is how most guys handle situations. They don't go on social media or look for a reporter to whine about it. Sometimes you just gotta punch a man in the face.

Respect.

I'm assuming Brad won't be asking for Marcos to come at him and fight like he was with Kurt back at Martinsville.

This may sound like I am biasd here but Mears had something coming to him the way he handled/pushed Ambrose (or anyone for that matter). I give a double thumbs up for that move and I can assure you that would be my action against someone handeling me like that. Remember, he chose the first action by pushing, laws of physics cover the equal and opposite reaction.... so Marcos was only returning them to the original position. No harm no foul...... play on.

And as for the gutless ass clown going for the hero punch from behind others..... you my friend are an utter phuckstick.

With regards to suggestion for drivers suspensions..... give me a break and cry me a river. Go back to middle school you sook.
