Seriously, people hate Montoya to a point that they try to rationalize how this was his failure. First, guys have vibrations they don't like in their cars all the time. He came into the pits, they said they didn't anything, and he went again. And he damn sure couldn't just tool around at 30 MPH and wait for the field to come around to him. And he was going nowhere near full throttle, he probably doing 80 to 100 MPH, which is completely within reason. This was nothing but a completely freak accident that was caused by part failure and poor timing.

If people want to hate Montoya, that's their choice - is it not? Sarcasm sure as he77 isn't going to change the way anyone feels.
 
DANICA!!! Lap 2 crash. Watch as she drives to the bottom and collects Ragan. She could've stayed high and all would have made it through. I'm not a Danica hater but that was a bad move.
 
I watched the last lap of the race, again. Greg Biffle is a tard. That guy couldn't try to drive his way out of Daytona much less try to win the race. He didn't try. Period. He kinda faked to go high, but didn't. Last two turns, didn't try ****. NOT ****.

I wish I could find the video of Carl doing this 2 years ago in a NW race. JJ kind of messed it up and let go real early. IMO, he should have been trying to get it pointed the right way to avoid a door hit, which he came close to getting.

F that, the hands are to important. He knew he was going to get it in the side, just didn't know it would be so long.
 
The letting off the wheel thing is going to just make accidents worse, fine if you let go at the last second but if you just let go your car is going to go where it wants. There is no way to save the car if you cover your eyes.

His car had no front end, it hit the wall at 200mph at a 90 degree angle. How much control could he have after that.

AND, How much do you think you would be like "Gee, I would feel bad if somebody ran into me because some douche took the wheel out of my hands and drove me into the wall", if you were driving the 48?

JJ looked like he was riding a water slide the way he crossed his arms. That situation there may be nothing he could have done but if they all get the idea hey we can just let go of the wheel there will be more crashes and bigger crashes and that will cause more injuries then holding onto the wheel.

Moejoe has a point about JJ's front end. Maybe the wheels were locked. I don't remember seeing the wheel move when he got hit again.

I am you've never wrecked at 200 either so you have nothing more to prove then trying to make JJ look like a genuis. In the long run letting go of the wheel will lead to far more issues then it prevents.
