Boycott Jamie Little?

I know. But were people upset with Little?
I would assume so given that generally, if something happens during a NASCAR race, there's a NASCAR fan somewhere out there who is upset about it, no matter what it is. Regardless, I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

I didn't see the race, but I pulled up the highlights on YouTube. I dunno, looked to me like Ankrum was indeed going pretty slow at the end, as can be required when winning a race on fuel mileage. I think Jamie's finish call was maybe a little late, but I've heard worse. No big deal. Like I said...clickbait.

The ending starts at around the 11:35 mark.

I didn't see the race. But I don't think she's all that good in the booth.

I like Jamie and wish nothing but the best for her, but I don't care for her doing the race broadcast. While she has toned it down a bit her voice becomes a bit annoying to me after a while. Also she seems to sensationalize quite a bit more when doing a broadcast versus when she's a pit road reporter.
I wonder how the fans are going about this boycott? Maybe the process could be used to remove a few chipmunk Charlies.

I agree and wondered if I was the only one who thought this way.

I've seen her do the Westminster dog show and she's really good at that.

I'd boycott Fox and CW for broadcasting races remotely maybe. Hopefully Amazon Prime will have the option to listen to the radio broadcast feed like they do for baseball.

Meh... let em drink from the bitter cup that they seek.

Double down and give Micheal Waltrip some speed pills and a louder microphone. All DAMN MICHEAL WALTRIP! ALL THE TIME! and watch them begging for Jamie's forgiveness.

I don't think she's the BEST lead race anchor I've ever heard, but I don't think she is terrible or worthy of boycott. I also feel like she is still learning the craft. She doesn't have near the experience in that role as most who have gone before her. Personally I just think SOME people don't like the idea of a woman anchor any more than they like the idea of a woman driver. Me, I want a female crew chief in Cup. I used to really enjoy Katie Crawford running teams in Grand Am.

Yeah this is her second year in the booth. Much better than the chip monks on CW or most of the gerbils IMO. I wish they were going trackside, Jamie knows many teams and would have the opportunity for inside information about teams and drivers.

Jeez what a mess…who woulda thunk it? FWIW, I think Jamie does as good a job as a broadcaster of NASCAR as anyone, when doing reporting, interviews, etc. I do not really enjoy female lead announcers in any sport. It’s not because of gender…it’s all about the quality of their voices, and their pitch. Just don’t like female lead announcers in football, basketball, etc. Having said that, Little is better than I thought she would be, primarily because she doesn’t try to over jabber the race like some do.

Me either. With her voice I think she would do much better at something like.......oh I don't know, maybe figure skating or dog shows.

I wouldn't classify the call of the ending of the race as controversial. If anything, it was odd.
I wouldn't have used the words 'lackluster' or 'disgraceful' either. Apparently those words no longer mean what you and I were taught before the Social Media Era.

She's just boring. Good on info in the pits but to subsidize the excitement on the track she leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe it's my unconscious bias but it just seems blah when she is doing the play by play.

I watch The W so I’m used to women being lead announcers.

Jamie Little isn’t it, but I have a feeling Fox, wanting to make history, will keep her there then put her in the Cup booth when Mike Joy retires.

She’s a great pit reporter and does give good insight because of that in the booth.

Personally. I’d like Fox and others to do what TNT used to do and let the pit reporters chime in at any time.

It’s wild to me that Allen Bestwick, Ralph Sheheen, Eric Brennan and Rick Allen all exist and we get this.

NBC has the best PxP man right now with Leigh Diffey.

Wow...Calling for her to be fired now.

Can we boycott those fans?
