Ehh, I wouldnt mind being Brad K payback Kyle as long as it stays in NW. If it doesnt...fjck brad.

My oh my doesn't this look oh so familiar. Listen to that crowd. Like it or not KyBu is the Dale E (attitude wise) of "2013" NASCAR and he's the enemy instead of the icon.

IMO Brad would be a fool to retaliate immediately. Come Homestead one of those "racing deals" may happen. Maybe at Daytona next Feb? But I have no doubt payback is coming and she's a, well you know.
 
I still haven't watched the race yet but if Kyle loses his cool and falls apart in the Chase again due to something that happened in one of the lower series it would be a shame.

I wouldn't go that far, but this does remind me of the fans crying alligator tears every time the 3 car got into another car back in the day. The things that people are saying about Kyle are the exact same things they used to say about Dale.

SB22, I know you weren't one of them since you've been a race fan for about fifteen minutes now, but it's funny how some things never change. lol

90s or 00s. Dale Sr. would have been cheered for putting Gordon in the wall. Fans loved that man for everything he did. As they should.

What would change from then till now?
 
I dislike Kyle Busch on the racetrack for the same reasons I disliked Sr. He acted like he owned the racetrack constantly and dished it out but couldn't take it. The difference is that Kyle Busch is a straight up pompous ass****.

That said. Neither Brad nor Kyle can win this fight.

Turns out that Brad didn't even have to lift a finger. Carl Edwards took care of the 18 for him during the cup race and I'm sure that Brad was giving Carl mental high fives after it happened! Of course, that self-pitying little jerk Kyle had the chuzpah afterwards to whine about how everybody keeps running over the 18! Kyle got what he deserved in the cup race as far as I'm concerned.

Not only that, "Stupid" spun himself out at least twice that I saw during the race by making crappy attempts at blocking.

I think this solves it. The nature of things took care of it.

Brad no longer needs to do a thing on Cup or NW.

You can always count on Kyle to self implode during the last 10 races. Hard cold fact.

While fans bask in KB's failure, I wonder if they've considered how him racing, out of cup contenion and pissed off, may impact their driver for the rest of the season.

He'll do whatever he has to keep the attention on himself.

Out of contention like hell. Any of those boys in the top 5 in points have the potential to go & win 3 or 4 races before it ends. Especially Kyle. It ain't over till Miami.

Everyone needs Kenseth and JJ to wreck or its a two man race. However chances are they will at some point.. right now there's only 15 points separating the second half of the top 10 in points.. and another 44 from there to the lead. 3rd is 25 back.. so its only 34 points that separate 3rd from 10th right now...... maybe if Harvick or Gordon can go start winning a bunch they can catch up .. but if JJ and Matt wreck.. IMO that opens up the whole top 10 to win this thing. Just look at Kyle.. last week he looked untouchable as the first 2.. now he's sittin back in 5th and one bad finish away from 10th.

Oh so because Dale ain't around anymore NASCAR's balls should drop off? Gimme a break kid. All you know is the era of touchy feely "don't race me too hard or ill whine like a girl" NASCAR. Ya know there was once a time if these cars even tapped each other they could still run for the win? By golly!

My point is that the "era" of Dale and the way things were is over. Get used to it or stop watching. Also when I was typing that I had stopped and didn't plan on saying it, out of respect.. then when I came back and replied to another post it was still in the box and I didn't notice and it ended up there. Either way tho, that version of nascar died with Dale and the chase as well as a lot of other things have made it what it is today... ur talking about over 10 years ago man.. Get over it.


EDIT: Also, I would like to say that it is MY OPINION that even back when it was Dale Sr. doing it and it was "okay"... it was still a ***** move for a driver that wasn't faster than the guy in front of him or couldn't pass him for whatever reason... if Dale did it as much as people go on about... just shows me he wasn't as good as people make him out to be. Anyone can shove a guy out of the way for a position.

Just curious... how many guys did Richard Petty wreck for wins? And he's the all time leader.. without the reputation for being a dick on the track. No disrespect to Dale, but when I really think about it... his reputation for being like that actually makes me think less of him as a driver. Like I said, anyone can wreck someone or shove a guy out of the way for a win. Takes no talent really.. just overdrive the turn and coast a bit longer.
