So IYO it's ok for a driver to run into another driver he can't pass for whatever reason if they are side by side by side, but not ok if the driver is behind the other driver.

Sr didn't have to do nuttin'. When a driver saw that black #3 coming he knew two things he had to do, pedal faster or get the he77 out of his way. Sr earned the name Intimidater.

First of all I never said that.. second... give it up man, Joey didn't do anything... even if he did... yeah it was wrong if he did... but he didn't... so give it up. And even if he did.. at least he didn't make his reputation on it.. he's always been one of the cleanest drivers out there.

It is unfortunate that most everyone's memories are made by a few selected YouTube moments but that's the age that we live in I guess. Most of the fans today really have no clue what it was like when that's all they have to go off of.

I agree there was nothing wrong with what Joey did. It was just hard racing even if he couldn't pass Hamlin and decided to stay in the gas and run into the side of him.

What makes me laugh is how according to some fans, when some drivers do it it's a "***** move", but when other drivers do it's "he didn't do anything wrong".
 
Look guys I never watched Dale race.. and Im sure that there is a lot more to it than him just wrecking people. He was obviously a great driver. That doesn't mean its okay to wreck people... now or then IMO... Honestly I didn't even really like the way Joey won at Pocono... doesn't mean I wasn't ecstatic about the win but I would rather have seen him pass him cleanly. Im sure it was the same way for Earnhardt fans.. they loved to see him win and even when he had to wreck someone or a few guys to get there they were fine with it. e earned a reputation as "The Intimidator" and no one messed with him because they knew he would turn them or shove them out of the way... It really just makes me think.. how many of his wins were really earned... instead of taken or given to him.. doesn't make much of a difference.. its just my opinion.. also... what KYLE did .. was a ***** move... what Joey did or didn't do according to who u ask... was much less avoidable and there was more at stake.

Agreed...the punishment needs to fit the crime. That's the problem when guys cross over. These two practically triple their chances of having issues with one another. I'll lose a lot of respect for BK if he wrecks KB during a Cup race. I'll also lose a lot of respect for him if he doesn't take him out the first Nationwide chance he gets. The sport desperately needs more rivalries and drama, but it has to take place on the track, not the press center. Empty threats are silly.
 
If Harvick moves someone its OK for him to act like an idiot because he is a bully
Lots of folks quick to jump on Kyle Busch no matter what he does he is always wrong

Last week we were calling that the 'bump and run' ,this week , it's intentionally wrecking someone that you are unable to pass . Seems dependant on who is doing it . :(

And it's not a matter of if but when he screws up. Kyle's problem is.....and always has been.....that his cojones are bigger than his brains.

It may be possible at 80 mph on a short track or a road course , but at 150 mph on a slick track like Kansas , turning someone is a certainty.

Have you ever "lifted" at 150+ mph? You cant just lift outta the gas and expect to simply slow down. When you just "lift" the back of the car wants to come around like you're on ice. Sometimes it's best to simply stay on the pedal and hope for the best

I've had my own sports car at 120 down some back roads in the middle of the night. It is a heavier car and just lifting with it you get a tad squirlley.

And you've got nothing legitimate to say to the original quote anyway.

how many championships does he have? DALE was the man and had the championship's to back it up.
