Bud Shootout

That didn't take long. This is waht 'race' fans enjoy? The only saving thing about the Bud shootout is everyone brings their junk cars.

I don't imagine Ragan will be the only driver to be the cause of a crash tonight:D
 
I can almost live with how they are stuck in line (racing?), but it's just about wrecking. I wonder if NASCAR ever spent any time trying to work out a rules package that allows pack racing without the wrecks.
 
That happens at Daytona, the only way a wreck here can be seen as someones fault if they drive into them by coming down. Stuff like that is hard to tell as Daytona and even Talledega sees that happen. Cars touch like this and it makes things happen.

Blame it on Daytona if anything.
 
Well we finished the Arca race with a big wreck and now we have the "Big One" at the ten lap point in the shootout....welcome to Daytona.

I can't blame it on the track, because it wasn't like this the past couple of years.

"Big wreck" and "ARCA" go hand in hand. They could pile up 25 cars on pit road. They hear Harry Hogge on the radio whenever there's a wreck ahead of them. "You can drive through it, Cole!"
 
This is going to get real messy when guys actually start the 2 by and surprise cars they try to pass by gaining so fast. We're right back to the mess X2.

Too me it looked just like the wreck last night with Tony(And i said this before they did on tv go back a few replies you'll see) It's the racing here, people don't understand they are going close to 200 mph, even being pros at this it's hard to react to every little thing and be perfect out there.

Haha...few of these guys ever learn anything from previous wrecks. Tough to blame them though - in a big pack like that...something is gonna happen sooner or later...and usually sooner ;)

NSCAR can't. They wont be able to get liability insurance against fans getting hurt or worse. The only real answer is smaller engines so everyone is slower, but not so bunched up.
 
hahaha Hammond is up in the spotters stand waiting for Danica and looks like she's staying in the booth.

Can you make up your mind of who you like? You talk good about someone then the next year you talk bad about them and flip flop. Last year no one talked bad about Kyle or Kurt more then you and then this year you're telling everyone give them a chance. Last year you was like Danica is gonna do something, this year you're like talking about her. Yeah she's not had any cup starts but she knows a little about the stock cars and being here. She almost won the Nationwide race last year.

The only way that will spread the field out is if you take the plates off some cars and not others. If you take them off all the cars then they will still run together just have faster wrecks.
