I really want to see the report that Brian is looking at when he said that "the NASCAR fan base remains intact, whether they engage with the sport on TV, at the track or online."
I think it's legal in 7 countries. Just not ours.I would love being able to inject youth.
Breaking news. There always has been. There's a disconnect between old people and young people in general.
But here in Italy you can't even watch Nascar legally so i can't really say.
Ciao, paisan!I'm not sure the sponsor matters all that much. For me it sure didn't. But here in Italy you can't even watch Nascar legally so i can't really say.
No official broadcasting here unfortunately. I can only hear MRN on their website
That's fine, at least you didn't mention pasta and pizza ... that's always the first words anyone tells me when they find out i'm italian...Ciao, paisan!
Sorry, that's all the Italian I know.

Yep. and i make 300 million dollars a year...that's pretty close to national average, right?I really want to see the report that Brian is looking at when he said that "the NASCAR fan base remains intact, whether they engage with the sport on TV, at the track or online."
Seeing the decline in television ratings, less people in the stands, knowing less friends are taking in this sport..... I just can't buy what he's selling there. Maybe my bubble of a world isn't large enough to witness whatever the heck he's looking at?
You dirty old man...I would love being able to inject youth.
^^^this^^^When I go to races live,I see lots of kids in the grandstands also a lot of 18 to 30 year olds as well.
Trying to force a person to like something is never going to work in this sport. When I was growing up it was all about the car, now it is all about the phone and apps for instant gratification. You are never going to get this from Nascar racing. This is a sport of drivers and teams and takes time to understand and appreciate the nuances of racing and with that being said, you either like it or you do not and since the car is not the priority anymore you have what you have.
Two years and gone.Hope I'm wrong on this, but I don't think growing Nascar's fan base is Job #1 for Monster. Selling more Monster Energy is their priority. They came to Nascar to sell their product to this crowd. If their edgy cool factor rubs off on Nascar and makes us cool again, then that would be edgy and cool, but that's not why Monster is here. Again, hope I'm wrong.
What NASCAR needs is drivers with personalities not a bunch of sissy rich kids who are all corporate shills.
Seriously look at all the young drivers tell me any one of them you'd want to hang out and party with. Most of them I'd just like to kick the sh!t out of for being douchebags.
300 million? Gods, how do you make ends meet on so little? I pay my illegal immigrant garden more than that. He usually buys luxury box seats.Yep. and i make 300 million dollars a year...that's pretty close to national average, right?
Must be some sort of hybrid crops as my garden doesn't even have a bank account.300 million? Gods, how do you make ends meet on so little? I pay my illegal immigrant garden more than that. He usually buys luxury box seats.

The ones I know are not the best such as puttana, stugots, testa di cazzo, fottiti and being a Frank Zappa fan I know Tengo na minchia tanta.
I guess I'm off ignore. You dirty old man...
An energy drink isn't going to do it. This really isn't hard....If the old guard is pissed, they probably aren't taking their kids to the track or watching on TV. Maybe instead of ****ting on the old guard, NASCAR should take care of who has been there all along. Additionally, to pass this sport along, Dads (and Moms) are going to have to sit with their kids, and interact about the sport. This will take 3 hours. Parents don't want to do that anymore--they have dates, work, and me time. Wondering who has the attention span problem. It isn't the kids.
I'm convinced that those of us who have resisted the siren song of the cellular attention suckers will rise to the top on the backs of those who can't even put their iToys down to pee. This is probably the best post in this thread.
It's not just kid's lack of attention span that's the problem. The parents are also digging in their phones like their lives depended on it.
It's much more of a vice than staying firmly fixed in front of a TV for 3 and a half hours these days.
