Suarez to the 19
Shocking
Suarez to the 19
Shocking
I sure hope everything's okay with him.
My first thought.
IDK anything about Suarez but I wish Erik Jones was going into the 19 and Suarez to Barneyville.
I agree. I have no comment until I am sure that he and everybody he cares about is okay. It should be noted that @Allenbaba called this, and indicated that the reason was that the driver was tired of the grind.
Yeah, that was my first thought.IDK anything about Suarez but I wish Erik Jones was going into the 19 and Suarez to Barneyville.
Maybe that's why he's retiring - he's not up to the backflips anymore...What the actual ****...
Freakin sucks. No more backflips
From a human standpoint it means everything that he is OK but from a business standpoint it is immaterial as life goes on.
I think many of us just can't believe that a driver capable of winning races and the lottery would voluntarily walk away from a top team but these sorts of things are not unprecedented. Steve Larmer quit the NHL once he won a championship, Barry Sanders had a lot of gas left in his tank when he walked away and players like Jerome Bettis, John Elway and Peyton Manning all left after winning the Super Bowl.
Bummer. Hope all is okay.. but yeah, his heart hasn't seemed to have been in it since 2011. He just was not as driven of a driver and he hasn't aged well.
I think the stress just got to him
I believe this is two years early for Daniel who would always be destined for the 19 Arris car for obvious reasons. If things had gone as planned, I believe that Erik would have arrived at JGR first probably in the 20, and then Daniel a couple of years from now after one year with FRR.
He's 25.Good to know as I don't keep up with things like this. I am sure I have heard of Suarez before today but I don't recall every seeing him race. TRD needs to get younger and IDK how old Suarez is but I presume he is under 30.
Holy crap. When the "shocker retirement" rumor started floating around, Carl never crossed my mind.
He's 25.
I respectfully disagree as from everything I have read Carl is in tip top shape physically. He probably just got sick of all the BS entailed in being a Nascar driver today.
