Charlotte Pre Race Thread

Hey DP, you got a photo of the 24 car on that pole run? Perhaps a new wallpaper will bring some mojo.

I didn't know they did consferences for winning a pole too.

Gordon answering questions live now.

I am really impressed with the speed in the 24 car the last couple months...if they could just finish the job with a couple wins, they could make some noise in this thing.

Wonderboy for ya. How many articles does it take about Jeff not being able to qualify well anymore and him being washed up for those "journalists" to eat their own words? Refuse to lose

EDIT: Whats up with those 2 parallel strips of tape on the 24? Traction control monitors? :D

I think they are used as a reference point to help the jackman during pitstops.

Look forward to the races this weekend. I'm pretty depressed so hopefully some good old racing can cheer me up.

He's always runs good here
Not since 2007 I believe. It's been hit or miss for the team at Charlotte. I remember on year DW saying "I think them flames on Gordon's car have turned to icicles."

Except WG and Sonoma. That would be too insane.
I duno I think at WG thatd be crazy in a good way.. also.. Dover and Indy, and Kentucky should do whatever they did this year.. I forget if it was a night race turned to day race or the opposite but it made for a good race. I would like to see every track have lights though even without a night race just in case they need to run late instead of the next day.
