Weather could be a factor today.
in car audio is free per nascar.com?

Yeah, and if they'd run it last night we'd all be watching something else. And if they'd run Daytona today, then this one would run next week. And if they'd started at 11 or 12 then they wouldn't have a TV contract and we wouldn't be able to see it at all.If they had started this race at 11 or 12 noon central they could have gotten both stages in
Gotta have those late starts though!
They have lights, might need them.Yeah, and if they'd run it last night we'd all be watching something else. And if they'd run Daytona today, then this one would run next week. And if they'd started at 11 or 12 then they wouldn't have a TV contract and we wouldn't be able to see it at all.
Watched the first 3.5 hours earlier. I'll catch the rest on the 'same day' tonight at 7, assuming this one is over by then.Watching IMSA racing on the NBC Sports app.
The drivers have gotta hate moments like this. They are getting strapped into the cars, only to know they will have to get out rather soon cuz of the rain.
Comeon fellas, believe in The Vortex
That wont bother me one bit, anyways, stay safe during the storms. My power just went out, it’s UGLY here. I seriously think we might have some Sunday prime time NASCAR!
We got network programming heads and weather experts working in 20 20 hindsight here don't cha knowIts comical to complain about NASCAR starting the race early, even if they started in at 5:30 -6 like Andy said they should, what difference does it make if you have 11 laps complete?
That shot of the car covers being whipped by the wind!
Looks like a big storm. I hope not.
It is more about staying aligned with the issued Vortex permits.Yeah, and if they'd run it last night we'd all be watching something else. And if they'd run Daytona today, then this one would run next week. And if they'd started at 11 or 12 then they wouldn't have a TV contract and we wouldn't be able to see it at all.
No problem, but these suggestions for the tracks to change the start times ignore or are unaware of the reality that TV calls the shots. They have lights, might need them.
Probably a union thing. It is more about staying aligned with the issued Vortex permits.
City Hall ain't open on weekends to issue the new or revised permits even if they had the data to demonstrate that the ecologys and atmosphereics could withstand a June Daytona race.
Hell what if they start the race back up and it rains 11 laps before the finish? Jus sayinWe got network programming heads and weather experts working in 20 20 hindsight here don't cha know
Then people would complain that NASCAR did something wrong tooHell what if they start the race back up and it rains 11 laps before the finish? Jus sayin
Reminds me of last summer...NASCAR needs to schedule a race here so we can get some rain. It's only rained a couple times, very briefly, over the past two months. Beating sunshine with no cloud cover, hotter than hell, both dry and humid at the same time, it's like a desert here.
I'm actually envious watching the rain in Chicago.
