Do you think that GEICO money dude will be waving the green flag for this one? It could get out of hand down wind from the start/finish line. I'm just sayin.
ROTFLMAO

I'd love to see the gecko wave the green! Of course, he might get blown off the flagstand, too.

Gordon wrecks Bowyer and another chase driver. That driver comes back a couple of races later and wrecks Gordon and 2 other chase drivers. This is the ripple effect Mike was talking about, and it continues right thru Homestead, where that giant Banana with a #22 on it slips right thru for the championship.

How's that for an ending, slicedbananabread?

That would sure make this place pretty entertaining/dreadful to read for 10 weeks depending on how you look at it lol. :lurk:

I almost forgot there was a race this weekend.

It's Wednesday evening and we still can't even say for sure who's in the Chase.

I was listening to Todd Berrier, Kurt's crew chief, on SiriusXM's Claire B Lang's show last night. He indicated that Kurt's pit crew is getting a major overhaul before Chicago's race. He said RCR has made a number of crew members available to Furniture Row Racing.

That is a good move if they want a legit chance at the championship.

He has to be much more calculating than that. The Gordon wreck of Bowyer has to come at a time when the loss of points can be maximized....Most likely scenario would be at a track/race where late in the race there are several cars still in the field and on the lead lap. The #24 is going to get one shot at this so he better wreck the #15 hard so they have no way of returning to the track.....Just my perspective.....

He's my sentimental favorite to win the chase...BUT...Im curious to see who has the strongest pkg for the chase....This weekend @ Chicago the temps will be cool with good air. Consistent 204-206 speeds crossing the s/f line....Would'nt be surprised to see a 209-210 going into turn 1 during qualifying.......

That would certainly be a cowardly ,chicken**** move by Jeff and I'm sure he wouldn't stoop that low . And what a lousy way for him to be remembered .( Endangering Clints life and the lives of other drivers ). Just my perspective .

I'd like to see 78 or the 88 go all the way, Ryan Newman would be a feel good champ too.

If Gordon does something stupid and dangerous I hope NASCAR drops the hammer on him like they did when KyBu wrecked Ron Hornaday under caution in that truck race.

Press is raking Nascar over the coals. Larry Mac. Boyer started it, Newman would have won and Jeff would be in the chase. Penske and Front row and Nascar had a meeting...no comment, no nothing...mums the word I guess for that bunch. :sarcasm: front row motorsports has new Penske motors in their Fords this weekend.
