Another one to watch.
Brady Bacon, races for Kasey Kahne, from Broken Arrow a burb of Tulsa. 2X National USAC Sprint Car Champion • Driver of the Hoffman Auto Racing Mean Green Cleaner 69 on the USAC National Sprint Car tour. Finished 4th last year at the Chili Bowl

 
Was reading that they still only pay out $10K to the winner? That’s messed up.

Heck Attica Raceway Park in NW Ohio pays out that for its biggest events.

And even crazier when you consider Eldora shelling out $150K

It's a prestige race, not a payout race. I mean, I'm not going to defend it exactly. They are absolutely raking it in down there, and I'm in favor of paying the racers. But it isn't going to change as long as Hahn is around, and it's his baby. Stewart has shown more willingness to increase purses when he's in charge.

The payout for the Tulsa Shootout is even worse. I'd be in favor of bumping the pay throughout the field and keeping the winner's amount low by comparison, since again, the race has never been about money (except on the spending side).

Oh I know that but holy **** why not at least 50K? They have to be killing it on tickets and tv money
 
I imagine that it costs a pretty stellar price to put the Chili Bowl on so I don't know just how profitable it is after all of the expenses are tallied up. But, my hats off to the guys that park the trailers in the pits they do an incredible job. All I have to do is get a number and drop our trailer in the parking lot outside and they have large fork lifts set up for a ball type hitch or a fifth wheel / king pin style hitch and they do the rest. Going to the Chili Bowl is by far the most exciting race and the easiest money I have ever made.:)

I am not 100% sure but I believe the top two who win the A main feature automatically transfer to the Big feature race

Tulsa area boy driving for Kuntz in first and Tyler Courtney I believe they call him sunshine in second. Courtney is the USAC midget champion racing for Clauson-Marshall

Here is a heat race with 16 year old McIntosh starting inside second row gold n black car. They do something with passing points and Pickens picks up a bunch starting on the inside of the back row black car.
