College Football 2016

Let's keep the playoffs at 4 teams. Two years in a row where the games were complete ****

I know there is no use in looking back but Penn State would have played better last night, imo.
Penn State should have been there. Last night pretty much assured us that we will never see a non conference champ in the playoffs again.

Not that I am making excuses but Ohio State is so young. They lost so many people last year and despite being very talented, they simply could not be consistent.

Penn State was much more consistent.

I think they will still take the choosing of the 4 teams on a situational basis.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the playoff expand to 8 teams in the near future. It'd get all of the Power 5 conference champions in, plus it would mean more $ for the NCAA.

I had to laugh.

Completely overrated. I love the fact he won't be there when Bama wins the championship.
Ehh, his first three jobs he wasn't put in a position to succeed. Al Davis making personnel decisions he disagreed with, Tennessee sucked when Fulmer was fired (and he improved them by a couple of games), and dealt with sanctions at USC. Building an offense around a first-year QB three years in a row and taking it to the playoffs each time is no small feat.

The pick call for the TD didn't go their way..
Okay that's one. They got the same call when they were on offense later in the game though and it was the right call. The first-half TD in the right corner of the end zone was probably incomplete and they missed DPI on Darnold's INT. The reversal on the fumble recovery was very questionable as well, especially considering the non-reversal with a similar amount of evidence on the aforementioned TD pass.

The first half TD was definitely complete

The Big Ten goes 3-7 in their Bowl games, I feel kinda silly now saying they were the best conference this year.

Rumor has it that USC distracted the Penn State position coaches for the last week with boy Mannequins. They were strategically positioned at the practice facilitates, and subliminally freeze framed on the jumbotron today. I am just thankful that they wasn't able to book a boy band for the halftime show today.

I mean I didnt see the game, but the boy band HT show would have still been very disturbing.

Kaylee Hartung working the side lines.

The job Kiffin did here was the best coaching job on the Hill since '04 and nothing since has been close.

Good to see the ACC trending upwards. They were playing some bad football for quite a few years.

The SEC has come back down to earth, but it doesn't look like the conference is quite as bad as the regular season made it seem.

Same old Big 10.
The ACC was definitely underrated this year, and I don't think Alabama beating Clemson next week is a slam dunk by any means.

And yes, the Big Ten really sh!t the bed this bowl Season. Only the AAC and the MAC had worse bowl records.

With the change from Kiffin to Sark happening the week of the game, I am leaning towards a Clemson win.

Sark was being groomed to take Kiffin's spot anyway. Hopefully the only change will be dropping the jet sweep and East-West passing. Probably see a little more of the ground game with RB's instead of QB draws.
