College Football 2022

FCS #7 5-1 Montana vs FCS #3 6-0 Sacramento State with a damn good late night matchup on ESPN2.

OT between top ranked FCS schools on ESPN2 in Sacramento at 2:30 AM ET, I like it.

……and Sacramento State beats FCS powerhouse Montana to go 7-0.

6 unbeaten FBS teams: Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee, Michigan, Clemson, TCU.

5 unbeaten FCS teams: Sacramento State (1 FBS win), Jackson State, Holy Cross (1 FBS win), Princeton, Penn.

Georgia and Tennessee play and then likely play Alabama, Ohio State and Michigan play. I imagine we’ll have one or two 1-loss teams in the CFP. Not sure I believe in TCU enough yet with all of the backup QBs they’ve played, plus they have three road games left. Clemson should win out.

Washington State is a strange school, looks like they’re gonna be up 14-7 though

The new Sun Belt with Southern Miss, Marshall, James Madison & Old Dominion is a pretty good G5 league. Better than the MAC & C-USA.

PAC-10 has pretty good football besides Cal & Stanford for some reason dragging the league down the past couple season.

New playoff should be good if the league can keep Oregon and Washington.

November in the PAC is going to be fierce. I dig not having divisions. Utah @ Oregon and USC @ UCLA will decide a lot.

I hope the PAC-10 stays around.

I feel like 10 team leagues are underrated if you have a bodybag team at the bottom to go 1-11 or 2-10 to help everyone else.

5-2 Southern @ 7-0 Deion Sanders led Jackson State on ESPN3 later, pretty sure Jackson State hosted College Gameday this week but I don’t watch that much anymore.

I've been really impressed with PSU's defense today. Michigan did whatever they wanted against these guys and everyone says OSUs O is the best ever.

Pretty astounded at Louisville beating Wake by 34 at the moment too.

Illinois look like they have a good shot at being 9-1 headed into the Michigan game.

If 7-1 Liberty can beat Arkansas & Virginia Tech and go 11-1, then they deserve a BCS bowl.

#20 Cincinnati loses to UCF.

#24 Tulane (7-1), Coastal Carolina (6-1), Cincinnati (6-2), UCF (6-2), Boise State (5-2) in contention for the G5 access bowl.

I’d hate to see UCF make another NY6 bowl. Boise has gotten a ton better since Dirk Koetter took over as OC.

I’m pulling for Tulane. Quality win @ K-State, still have to host UCF and then @ Cincy on Black Friday.
