Cone Rule

This thread has filled in admirably for the dearly departed DP threads. When I started following Nascar I never thought I would hear about cones, stages, pit road speed limits, wave arounds, free passes, double wreck restarts, chase, playoffs, stage points, hairspray for the track, cars so safe they put you to sleep. Gotta love it.

I'm often confused whether Florida is the 7th New England state or the 6th borough of New York City.

I know that Florida is geographically south but it sure doesn't seem like a southern state to me. At least nothing like the Carolina's, Georgia or Tennessee. I know there are a lot of little old ladies with blue hair and old guys with their pants hiked up above their navel that complain about the government full time. There are probably more sea foam green Grand Marquis' in Florida than the rest of the country combined.
