It's on poles in my neck of the woods, all the way up to the house. In fact, the cable basically goes over my driveway and enter the house under the eaves. Lost power, started up the generator, still had cable TV.

It means what I wrote. He lives in the sticks so he thinks cable sucks. That's fine. The majority of American live in cities and suburbs where cable is better than satellite.

I have direct tv and the rain,ice and wind are not a problem but snow can be...but if you spay it with pam the snow will slide off but we are lucky to get a inch or 2 not feet of snow like the east and north. although we did have a small tornado come through town about 4 years ago and it did go out for 20 min. or so.

And FOX continues to promote that stereotype. If FOX had NBA coverage, would they play rap music to promote those stereotypes? They don't play heavy metal for UFC coverage. NASCAR is the only sport that gets this kind of disrespect from their television partners. Every other sports event is treated and covered in such a way.
