I'd like to address the doubters of the 2019 rules package for just a second..
Ahem..
Let's wait and see who wins...

Au contraire, Jellyfish-Breath.I don't think anyone doubted the entertainment.
It’s really not. The aero ducts at Vegas will make a substantial difference and raise more questions. Its pretty much the same
Bowyer puts on the best parties - still over a hundred miles of racing to go.75 to go and I don't have a clue who's going to win. I'll take it. I honestly thought Bowyer would be better....
This isnt the best track to make an evaluation. The real show starts at Vegas. What did they accomplish with the new rules except to slow the cars down? I don't see the improvement
This isnt the full 2019 package.
They will? Tell me what will happen? Between a worn out track and one with more grip. It’s really not. The aero ducts at Vegas will make a substantial difference and raise more questions.
To be fair, the 2019 package isn't one static thing, and is trying to be tailored to different tracks.
That said, the chest thumping about how great this is after most of a race is based on an underlying dissatisfaction with last year's product. Some of us weren't dissatisfied.
That track looks like they cut the weeds on an abandoned parking lot, then put a wall around it.
I'm probably the only one who can't wait for the repave.

They don't ever need to pave this trackI dunno, I like tracks that have a little wear and tear to them, it adds character to an otherwise boring and overused track configuration.
Love seeing little fans in the stands. Some of my fondest memories are going to races with family.

The only evidence is from the practice sessions which hinted at a more difficult ability to pass, but the cars were able to run closer together. They will? Tell me what will happen? Between a worn out track and one with more grip.
Yeah I know but I can dream can't I?They will have to eventually. @FLRacingFan mentioned about the sealant in the grooves of the track were coming up. It will have to happen down the road and not end up like Daytona being delayed with asphalt coming up.
