Cup RACE thread --- Atlanta

This has been a good race overall, I'll just have to get over it looking xfinity.

Excellent -- they can attach those bolt on bodies to the Cup chassis -- with the Fiberglass blade built into it.

Save some money to cheat somewhere else... :D

48's driving style looks roasted, even though all of Hendrick still out to lunch.

He might have to change his style up some IMHO. Especially with the momentum based racing, he's going to have to do something about it or languish back in 25th all the time.

so I have only seen the last 20 or so laps, but the cars look slower. Has a total Xfinity feel to it, not what I was hoping for.

Looks like instead of just Harvick checking out, Harvick and Larson did. What's different besides more boring because the speed aspect is gone?

The more this drags on the more it looks like typical Atlanta. Fighting the car and the track is all part of the deal here. Not necessarily a bad thing. I think the top three could put on a good fight in the last half.

They are fighting the car and track trying to stay in the gas that hard, I'm liking that part.

Someone needs to splice those ‘outta my way’ Harvick shots with the ‘beyond the infinite’ scenes from 2001.

Seems like most of the action is on the restart. Leader is still running away with it

Chase is dropping like a rock.
The nose damage from that big piece of debris slowed them down. While they were repairing that on the last pit stop they took out a left rear spring rubber and it went the wrong way.

Yep. Change on last stop went wrong way. They’re baffled on radio. Chase was even asking for comparison of throttle tracings. Don’t know whose data they’re getting, but he tried to match whoever that was and it was even worse. Maybe they’ll get it together for playoffs after limping in on points. *eyeroll*

Draft Kings lineup of Ky Busch, Larson, Bowyer, Newman, Buescher and Stenhouse in the money rn. Need 17 to get back on that lead lap

I thought he'd be able to adapt today judging by his practice and qualifying, but just haven't seen it. #1 recommendation has to be run some xfinity 1.5 for him. It's still a Hendrick problem too though. Not looking good...
